Horrible experience. Please file a Police case against that restaurant or give all the restaurants misconduct to HMRC and Immigration too if they employ people without work permit & mistreat them, then the Restaurant will be fined £20,000
I had same experience from a sylhety restaurant owner. The restaurant was in Cambridge(Abingdon).I am from sylhet as-well. The restaurant owner treated me very badly. I remember I was very hungry one day and he did not let me eat at 12:00 am when chief and other staffs were eating after work. We all were eating but He ( the animal restaurant owner)told me to eat later and do the cleaning task first. I could do this after eating food - there were 2 Romanian waiters there but he did not tell them .. only he asked me. I took my plate on a side and did what he told me to do first( took until 1:30 to finish). I had some issues with my paperwork and he used this as a tool and forced me to work till 1 to 1:30 every night. He didn’t allow me to take drink orders because he thought I can’t speak English. I will not be able to take drink order. I worked there around 1 months.This was my Indian restaurant experience. Horrible experience. Luckily my paperwork sorted in 3 months later.. And within a month I got full time job as a Front Desk Receptionist in Hilton( 3 months ago this sylhety restaurant owner thought that I will not be able to take a drink order) Then after one year I got a job offer in NHS as an administrator and now currently working in a higher position in NHS. I believe there are many good bangali restaurants owners but my bad luck I couldn’t meet the good restaurant owner. I met an animal ( Restaurant owner)and this animal made me feel that Indian restaurant owners are not human beings. This animal has three daughters. But should not have treated me like this. I was that time his children’s age.I only wanted someone to support me. He took the advantage on me and didn’t pay me. While writing this suddenly I remember now the Restaurant name was Dil Raj , in Abingdon. I will never forgot this short man( the restaurant owner)
আমি জানিনা হুজুর কিভাবে এই কথা বললো, বেনেফিট ইনকাম কি করে হয় ? আমাদের দেশে যারা গরিব যাকাত নিয়ে চলে , বেনেফিট অনেকটা অই রকম, উন্নত দেশ তাই তাদের বন্টন সিস্টেমটা সুন্দর । সমাজের সচ্ছল মানুষের টাকা গরিবদের দিচ্ছে যাতে তাদের জীবন মান ভালো থাকে, তারা উন্নত দেশের গরিব। আর যিনি অন্যর সাহায্য নিয়ে চলছে তার কুরবানি কিভাবে হয় ?
আমার জানা মতে এদেশে আমরা সরকারি সকল সুযোগ সুবিধা ভোগ করি। অথচ এই বেনিফিটে দেশে বাড়ি গাড়ি। ছেলের নামে ঘর অথচ নিজেরা থাকেন কাউন্সিলর ঘরে। এটা কি মিথ্যে নয়। এটা হুজুরের সুবিধাবাদী জবাব। হায়রে মানুষ।
