Hi I used to be with the Ju Jus. Your video: The members in the band are really great players and showmen! This is the first time I been to your channel and I will have to spend more time enjoying your videos. I have a channel too. The music is more of a variety, as you know You Tube caters to all kinds of musical and vocal types. I don't have a band but put my videos together at home by myself. Really no support team to help guide me. I have written a tune about the silent movie star Charlie Chaplin that I wrote and produced at home. To see it just put in CHARLIE CHAPLIN and look for his face on You Tube under by name. Also another example of a song I wrote is Do as Jesus Would Do. Are you part of the Norton Record Company? Oh, where are you located city and country? Under Raymond Hummel channel just click on playlists. God bless you all! Have fun listening, writing, producing music, etc.. 😀💗🎵🎶🎸🎤🎧Bye1
Greetings to your band in France! Still love you sound! Is your band still together? I am Ray Hummel (Ju Jus) listening to you in sunny Florida. It brings back memories hearing y our group again. Say hello to all the members for me. Maybe you could take time out to listen to DO AS JESUS WOULD DO listen to the guitar player and my other song CHARLIE CHAPLIN. Where is Norton Records located. Do you know the owners?
Hey Ray, nice to hear from you. The Juju's are the best. Since we last talked our band released two LP's, check them out. Unfortunately we're not playing together anymore! Check out Les Lullies, the band of our guitarist and our harmonicist. I also have a new project coming up... Stay tuned on Norton Records. Are you still doing music? I'm up to make a Christian single. Haha. Hello from sunny Valencia, Spain.
@@1964jazzbass So nice to hear from you. Why not subscribe to my channel Raymond Hummel click on the playlists and you can hear my music . I will look up your two new albums. What are their names. You could check out my tune CHARLIE CHAPLIN watch the one that has a picture of Charlie Chaplin on it. Remember I don't have a back up band and just make my recordings at home. Yes leaves some comments. I will subscribe to your channel too. God bless and have fun playing your music.
Love the music! Former lead singer, guitarist, harmonica, and writer of many of the Ju Jus songs. It's great to hear your band again after so many years! It's like a breath of fresh air! As I side note I just wanted to mention that I recorded a tune live on the road performing, entitled "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying" and it is on You Tube. I recorded it alone without any back up band. Getting back to Les Grys Grys their band is an extremely talented rock and roll band. Their recordings are MASTERPIECES and will be around for many generations to come! There not just for now, they are forever!❤
Me gustan mucho Easybeats(friday on my mind es un clasico sixties inolvidable),esta cancion salio en un single español,espero no equivocarme, como cara B de Good Times. Fabulosa!
Watch this video dozens of times on different channels. It's my mission to go in and watch it again. After all, a channel that enjoys good riot in the audience and on stage is always right.
Is there a video of this performance that you can see all of them, especially Stevie wright doing his Dancing 😂😂. . He was so talented and very cute and adorable ❤❤.
Stevie was still only 19 years old at this time. Harry was 20 and George, barely, 21. And they broke up 2 years later. Bare in mind that you had to be 21 years old to legally sign a contract back in those days. Unfortunately, too much, too soon. It’s only with hindsight that we can realize that they were all musical prodigies.
Hello all I am Franks widow. Thank you to all keeping his music and legacy alive. Those that new that Ritchie Valenz is Franks cousin are correct, , Frank was a force to be reckoned with. Frank left the music industry as the Ambertones because he became a Christian and chose to sing Gospel music at the church we attended. This is when we met and married. I miss him greatly he was sweet as he was talented.
Easily one of their best songs can't believe it wasn't a hit amazing melodies and harmonies they were loved by other groups especially Small Faces and Stones, Ray Davies as well, The Godfathers of Aussie Rock a pity Stevie got on the gear...as he was one of best front men of all time..if he wasn't so f'd up could have been the lead singer of AC/DC...And he was offered both Yesterday's Hero and Love is in the Air but knocked them back...
Finally got to see this great band at their farewell gig & never realised what a phenomenal guitarist Dick Taylor is. He’s rarely mentioned when people talk about great guitarists, but his playing that night offered a masterclass in how to play proper R&B.
I remember seeing them in Hull and hung around 'till everyone had gone and meeting Dick Taylor and him showing me his 12 string guitare and giving me a quick lesson on it. What a great guy. Thank again Dick
I heard this song on a pirate radio in London back in 94 it was the original by Machine took me years too find it. Then I found this today. Brillant, love it.
