Dude. Corso is what a man should be. A real man doesn't harm women. As a southerner myself, I find him refreshing because he's very much like me in the sense that he understands that a gun is a tool to cause harm. It's the owner of said gun's responsibility to make sure the good done with said tool outweighs that harm. Also, I was raised by a badass woman who could kick any man's ass, and she taught me from an early age that real men don't fight women.
I disagree with the people who thinks that First chapter of the consular story arc makes sense. We could skip it by deep questioning and interrogation of our master Youn. I know a healing and shielding technique, can teach the whole council. Together we can do it. Cause in the end we came back helped her connect with Morrahge and track him, also discovered that Morrahge is their lost friend, which was the most obvious answer And she didn't told us about that mission and the names of her lost friend jedi and sith spirit just she was ashamed of her and her team's failure?? Sweet Sith, we could solve the problem in a matter of days. Instead we played a role of a Council's trauma team).
I don't know about Kira. Am I anyone who admits that in many cases she blindly follows the council? And Kira..got no trauma about .. well.. the Emperor could get his revenge later and possess Kira's body again? Nah. Maybe we should care more about it, examine for a several weeks or more in the Temple? Nah. Kira, I'm serious! Nah. I've spelled custom Jedi chant. It will be enough to break the bond and hold him. Him. Don't bejkass. HE. IS THE. DMN. EMPEROR. Nah. ... Masters Jedi. Should we investigate the Kira's cause? Nah. She's a jedi knight now. Congrats!
I actually liked the Consular story line at the beginning, when having to deal with the Sith Plague and then hunting down the children of the Emperor. But the rest of the story was derailed and pretty non exciting. For the Consular romance with Nadia, I actually really enjoyed it a lot, there was a lot of build up over the course of the game as you interacted with her for a long time, even before she became a companion. I like the philosophy of the Jedi and Sith talk with Ashara and that she treats the Inquisitor as a person. Vette was one of the best romances in the game, kinda like with Nadia it really builds up in the story, plus she is really funny. Kira's romance was by far the more interesting story and I still laugh at the dark side option to romance.
Here is the detail of (almost) every class story companion's age: - C2-N2 and 2V-R8's fabrication dates are unknown. - Blizz and Broonmark don't have a birth year so their age is unknown. - M1-4X is technically 0 by the time we meet him as he's been just rebuilt. His original year of fabrication is unknown. - SCORPIO may possibly be the oldest companion. I don't know exactly when Iokath was at the peak of their power but may be a couple thousand of years. Then the ranking goes like this: - Khem Val is around 2000 although he spent most of that time sleeping. - Scourge is 307 at the start of the game, 309 when we meet him and 324 by Onslaught. - T7-O1 is not known exactly but he is at least 200 by the start of the game. - Bowdaar is 195 at the start of the game, 196 when we meet him and 208 by KotFE. - Eckard Lokin is 64 at the start of the game, 65 when we meet him and 77 by KotFE. - Gault Rennow is 54 at the start of the game, 55 when we meet him and 67 by KotFE. - Fideltin Rusk is 39 at the start of the game, 41 when we meet him and 52 by KotFE. - Malavain Quinn is 37 at the start of the game and 50 by KotET. - Zenith is 35 at the start of the game, 36 when we meet him and 53 by Onslaught. - Skadge is 35 at the start of the game, 37 when we meet him and 48 by KotFE. - Andronikos Revel is 35 at the start of the game, 36 when we meet him and 48 by KotFE. - Tanno Vik is 33 at the start of the game, 34 when we meet him and 46 by KotFE. - Qyzen Fess is 32 at the start of the game and 45 by KotFE. - Languss Tuno is 32 at the start of the game, 34 when we meet him and 45 by KotFE. - Felix Iresso is 30 at the start of the game, 31 when we meet him and 43 by KotFE. - Aric Jorgan is 30 at the start of the game and 43 by KotFE. - Tharan Cedrax is 29 at the start of the game, 30 when we meet him and 45 by Onslaught. - Kaliyo Djanis is 29 at the start of the game and 42 by KotFE. - Pierce is 28 at the start of the game, 29 when we meet him and 41 by KotFE. - Yuun is 27 at the start of the game, 28 when we meet him and 40 by KotFE. - Akaavi Spar is 27 at the start of the game, 28 when we meet her and 40 by KotFE. - Doc is 27 at the start of the game, 28 when we meet him and 42 in Ossus. - Talos Drellik is 26 at the start of the game, 28 when we meet him and 39 by KotFE. - Vector Hylus is 26 at the start of the game, 27 when we meet him and 39 by KotFE. - Elara Dorne is 26 at the start of the game and 39 by KotET. - Raina Temple is 23 at the start of the game, 25 when we meet him and 37 by KotET. - Corso Riggs is 22 at the start of the game and 35 by KotFE. - Xalek is 22 at the start of the game, 24 when we meet him and 35 by KotFE. - Nadia Grell is 21 at the start of the game, 23 when she becomes our companion and 36 by Ossus. - Risha Drayen is 21 at the start of the game, 22 when she becomes our companion and 34 by KotFE. - Jaesa Wilssam is 21 at the start of the game, 22 when we meet her and 36 by Ossus. - Vette is 21 at the start of the game and 34 by KotFE. - Kira Carsen is 20 at the start of the game and 37 by Onslaught. - Ashara Zavros is 19 at the start of the game, 20 when we meet her and 32 by KotFE. - Mako is 19 at the start of the game and 32 by KotFE. - Torian Cadera is 17 at the start of the game, 18 when we meet him and 30 by KotFE. Why is Torian so young?? At least he is 18 when we meet but it's still weird. Edit: Also, Quinn is too old. Why 37? He looks younger than Drellik who is 10 years younger.
@@Badboyben1422 the class stories take place in 3 years, from 3643 BBY to 3640 BBY. Then we have a 2 year gap to 3638 BBY when Rise of the Hutt Cartel takes place. Then in 3637 BBY Shadow of Revan takes place and in 3636 BBY the Outlander is frozen in carbonite. They are revived 5 years later in 3631 BBY, the bulk of the war takes place in 3630 BBY, and then a couple of years for the Iokath story and the Nathema story. The invasion of Ossus occurs on 3628 BBY, 15 years after the beggining of the game. Onslaught ends 2 years later on 3626 BBY. Legacy of the Sith starts on 3625 BBY and we are currently between 3623 and 3622 BBY. So a total of 20 years have happened between the beginning of the game and the present time, which makes sense because it has been 13 years since launch (2011 to 2024) plus the 2 extra years that the class stories covered, plus the 5 years skip during KotFE is 20 years.
@@AgusSkywalker oh wow I never realized the time gaps actually varied in the game as we played. I just remember that we had the 5 year time skip at the beginning of KOTFE. Thank you.
Maaan I hated Carth lol F tier for him. HK and Cander S for sure ol Bast C with that cat girl. I forget the black dudes name but B because his story of the Jedi dying in a stupid funny way makes me laugh
So one story I forgot to include in this video was that of something called "Blind Karaoke" which was a karaoke track being played but you're not allowed to look at the lyrics. I signed up cos it seemed like fun, first person who went on, couldn't have been much older than 14, didn't know eye of the tiger, not just not knowing the lyrics, he'd never heard the song before, which baffled me and made me feel the oldest I've ever felt. This was then followed by me forgetting the lyrics to the final countdown, but I claim a moral victory because at least I knew what song I'd forgotten the lyrics to!
Ok. Cool. I was thinking of doing these kind of videos like this didn't know you had to be Infront of the camera or not. Thank God you don't have to be. Lol.
I'm still learning a lot of editing tricks and don't have a green screen, so using my hero forge avatar in place is way easier in general, even if I'm not entirely a vtuber or pngtuber.
@@FlipTheScreen gotcha. As for me I don't like being Infront of the camera or using my own voice I will be using Elevenlabs for these type of videos. Since my voice is terrible in a microphone, and I want to do rank stuff but saw others with being Infront of the camera and I saw yours so I was pleased to see that we didn't have to be Infront of the camera for ranking stuff.
@@A21-EDITS21 id always be a bit careful with Elvenlabs, I wouldn't use it because I'm not exactly AI's biggest fan but I'm aware that with what I assume it's default voices are csn soeind pretty uncanny.
I love Kreia in Kotor 2. She challenges your decisions no matter what you do, lighrside, dark side, being apathetic/doing nothing. Most of the time you interact with her if you stand by your decision she respects the choice and loses less or even gains influence with you.
I think potentially the biggest reason KOTOR 2 is remembered so fondly as it is today is because of Kreia as a character. I think the fact she challenges you on every decision in the game, including the ones you're not really given an option for (like Visas joining your crew) and how that affects your influence with her mechanically is really well done. She has this sort of vibe that reminds me a lot of the trope of characters being aware they're a piece of fiction, which has sadly become somewhat overdone in the past decade. Kreia obviously isn't a meta commentary on RPG morality or a depressed lunatic or like Deadpool, but her character really is captivating in that same meta sense.
Good list, KOTOR II is the first star wars game i ever played, a precious GEM and great memories. Love the list you did. And to be honest. When you came to GOTO i was like... Ohhh right! he was a companion.Totally forgot that he was in the game. Great list and I am looking forward to see what you will put out in the future.
I do honestly stand by my opinion that no form of star wars media can properly surpass the storytelling of KOTOR 2, and I'd love to make more content on the game later down the line!
Once more thank you to D. Senji for allowing me permission to use their remixes for this cover and some future ones I have planned, check out the original on their channel here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ZlcZOnAEzE.html
