How can you make the labels in the ribbon appear on a mac? ... on a mac, typically the command key is subbed for the alt key when using shortcuts. But hitting the command key does not bring up the labels like alt does on a PC.
just wondering, in the logic formula, 1st logic if greater than 35000, 2nd is greater than 30,000, thus the 1st logic falls to 2nd logic? anything that is greater than 30,000 will result as large, it means 30,001 up include 35,000
How do I get rid of the extra +4 on zip codes quickly? I work with data that contains both zip code and zip code +4 but I need it all to be just zip code.
Thanks for the tip. After watching your video, I discovered that you can apparently also add extra spaces to the formula without any problems, making your nested formulas even more clearly visible through indenting.
7:40 holds true if you insert a cubemember into a cubevalue formula and reference a cell in square bracket followed by "&C4&"for example... i actually use this trick to change things cubevelue is referencing with data validation list..
We are deliberately pulling the value for the 2 nd instance. How would this ensure that the order came from the store in 2nd store? What if the order is from store in the 1st instance?
I just completed a Business Analytics Class and found the most difficult part was setting up the model pulling info from a paragraph containing the constraints. In your class, how much time is spent on organizing provided information and structuring it into the model?
Hi Chris, do you know if it's possible to have multiple filters (either multiple text filters or multiple number filters) and showing subtotals for each filtered category? Or excel wouldn't allow that? For example, in this sample file, I want to see sales for movies with names starting in D and in T with subtotal for each category. I know I can do that manually, but I am trying to learn if pivot table can do it for you. Thank you.
Perfect for assigning alpha-numeric values in your cells, along with having images so as to still be able to sort by the image based on the cell's actual alpha-numeric values. Thanks!
Love this clip, implemented no problems, thank you. Question i have though is... is it possible to combine Months together for a number of years, for example I have January 2020, 2021, 2022 and i want them all next to each other rather than at the start of each year, i don't know how to do that with these charts?
Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome. Very well explained. I couldn't find this explanation--simply put anywhere else. Great teachers are hard to find. Grade: A++💥
Thank you so much for this - I'm stuck at the stage where I have the 100% stacked columns and my gap width is 0, but there's still a gap between them. I'm guessing that's because my time series is quarterly. What would be the solution to this? Can't change my time series. Thank you!
Hmm, one option might be to format your axis and change it from "date" to "text". That should prevent Excel from treating it as defined time periods and adding those spaces - give it a shot!
