Thanks for checking out the video. these are not bulbs, these are LED lights and it’s not something you’re going to be able to open. But in the time that I’ve had these lights I’ve never had any issues with any of the LEDs burning out. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video, I am wondering if the NISI True color VND will work with this, I imagine the first 2-5stops filter will but what if I need to add the 5-9 stop filter that just pops on the from of the 2-5 stop filter? It does not screw on but is just using suction to stay on the top filter? I hope that makes sense but has anybody used a NISI True color Filter system with this matte box? Thanks
Oh cool man I found your video , wow it looks like those lights are amaizng man , and you still using it , you are the best brother , I just subscribe to your channel as well thanks so much bro!
Dude I’m pretty sure you got to put on your VND filter first like you put your 82 mm into the 95mm step up ring Because it has the 82mm thread inside then put it through the matte box , that’s why your 82’s aren’t fitting , I just saw someone else’s video explaining it , and you did it the opposite
Thanks for checking out the video. The circumference of that particular ND filter I have was too large, I have another 82 VND from another company that fits no problem now. Which is the reason I pointed that out in the video. People have commented the same thing and I’ve said that to everybody also.
@@FelipeAlmeida_media I know but did you try to screw that 82mm that you thought didn’t fit onto the 95mm step up it has a 82mm thread inside , then put it through the matte box .. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gDz_C0aurAc.htmlsi=SBsVxAa76VYIep7Z (this guys video does it this way ) I’m not saying I don’t believe you , just making sure you exausted all attempts , because you say in the video only the circular ones will work , but I’ve got confirmed 3 different people using the 82mm nisi variable nd that is bigger then the circular ones because of the knobs in it , but have been told the k&.f plus circular won’t work , cheers
@Tonellacam yep I tried every way possible lol, and I watched similar videos also to see if I was doing something wrong lol if you notice his ND filter is smaller then the step up ring, were my ND filter circumference is larger then the step up ring itself by a fraction of a hair lol 😭. At the time I ended up purchasing another Tiffin (77mm) ND to fit cause I wanted to keep the same color, but now I have a K&F 82 no problem. It sucked and I was frustrated but all good now. I do appreciate you sending over the video and the info! I appreciate our community!!
It all depends on the ND filter you have. I have had some people express in the comments below that they were able to fit there ND filter on the Matt box. So it depends on which one you have, in my case mine did not fit.
Sir, nice explanation and it helped because I didn't know the microphone differences into the iphone. Since using iphones is using external Rode lavalier and as seen into the video presentation is it easy going by visible on the beginning of the video shoot "headphone." What I didn't know was: how to level the sound louder. You have explained this, I try it on the older Filmic version 6.7 that I use but honesty, it doesn't help much. The audio bar is on the the bottom, I would have the audio sound bar as you on the right side of the screen, how to do that? I think when the audio bar is on the right side is the DB more visible which is not when the audio bar is on the bottom. Also, I am somehow an noob in this, I read light audio processing, the sound was better then. How to do that? Reminder: audio bar on the right sight which will help me to set up the sound volume higher and the processing to get better sound. To end, I use the discontinued freefly movi cinema robot which is embedded into the Filmic version 6.7. The new version I am not sure but the issue today with Filmic is the monthly or year payments. I am owner of the Filmic app since 2013, so long as possible I am tray to stay with the older version. Look forward, Luc from Belgium
Thanks for checking out the video!! So a couple of different things to think about. First if the audio is low and you have increase on the app to the max, then your Lavalier mic needs to send more power to the phone. If you don’t have an external power lav mic (like a RODEGO wireless) then that’s your issue probably. Filmic pro last time I checked does not power your lav mic, it’s has to be powered outside of the phone. Unfortunately the Filmic pro company has been closed and they are not going to be doing anymore updates and no more support. I would recommend trying an app like Blackmagic camera app. It’s has all the same tools plus other stuff and it’s free. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks
The Matte Box has the ability to stack 2 rectangular filters. I have not stacked the rectangular filters and the circular filters because I only have the circular ones unfortunately.
Thanks for checking out the video! As far as the trays. They both come with the 4x5.56 tray for you to add your own ND filter. Now per Smallrig it does show that the lite has the ability to take a 4x4, bit u need to purchase that tray separate.
Thanks for checking out the video. I have a f38 quick release plate and I attached it to the riser plate that came with the DJI gimbal. The f38 quick release stays on the raiser and never comes off. Falcam does sell the complete quick release system specific for dji. So it depends on your preference and budget. Thanks for the question. Let me know if you have any more.
yea you can, but it will move back and forth as you zoom in and out. The Mini does offer a support on the bottom of it to help with heavier lens, so you would not use that feature. Thanks for checking out the video.
Wow outstanding video and information, im surprised this guy only has 214 subscribers, you're producing some very informative stuff man. should have way more subscribers than this. but thanks for giving this out.
It depends on the diameter of your ND and CPL on the comments in this video you’ll see that there’s a mix of people that said they had no problems with putting on their 82mm filters. But I have a tiffen ND 82 that did not fit.
Quick correction I own the Mini light, and the top knob does have a spring on it. It works just like the regular Mini matte box. At least mine does. Great video it helped me decide. I appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
Today I have received the lite version. It DOES have the spring loaded knob on top and I use it with my canon 24-70 f2.8, which had a thread of 82mm. With the matte box on it my circular ND filters from urth fit just fine.
That’s cool! Congratulations on the purchase! That’s cool you’re has the spring load ratchet style tightener for your flag. Yeah I had someone similar ask about the ND filters also, the one I have is the Tiffen ND filter and mine is to large of a diameter to fit in either one. I’m sure people will be able to fit different ND filter, it’s about the dimensions. That why I mentioned that I had the tiffen. Congratulations on the box, and thanks for checking out the video!!
@@FelipeAlmeida_media are you absolutely positive yours doesnt have the spring loaded knob? It looks exactly the same as mine. Sometimes they are a little bit stuck when you pull on them.
@@FelipeAlmeida_media I think so, you twist to the right, lift it up and turn it back without it engaging, twist to the rigth again etc. Same for twisting left ofcourse
I recently got an iPad Pro and bought a dock (hope I’m using the right words lol) to connect my Scarlett interface and when I record audio with my XLR mic, the audio sounds fine but only records in mono (can only hear the audio in left ear on headphones) and I have yet to find a solution besides exporting the audio alone and making it stereo with a third party application then pasting it back on top of my video. It’s not the worst thing, but definitely takes a lot more work than if it just recoded in stereo, I haven’t found anyone else with this issue, so I hope I can find a fix or more efficient option, thanks in advance for any help‼️🤞
Brilliant, I can't thank you enough. I am currently about to pick these up from Amazon at a great price for a set of 3 of £129. But the reviews on the site are a bit inconclusive and mixed. So, I am very grateful that you took the time to comprehensively review and discuss the true pros and cons here. It has really helped me decide to go ahead an pick them up. Thanks again 🙂
That’s awesome!! Your very welcome!! I’m happy the info helped! That’s a great deal for 3 of them. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you so much for watching the video!!!
Hi! Thanks for checking out this video. I used LumaFusion for years on my phone so I definitely can relate to it not being always easy to do things due to the size of your phone. But I do know that now, you have the ability to expand the size of the timeline if you are doing something, same thing goes with your menu. Hope that help! Have a great day!
