I’m honestly scared I won’t get in because of my unweighted gpa. I applied early decision and test-optional. I have a 3.2/4.3, 2 clubs, vp of one, had a summer job, mostly all honors classes, leadership project, and volunteered at many places along w/ an internship.. do you think I’ll be ok for Spelman?
hi, I have a 3.1 unweighted/ 4.2 weighted, I’m in 2 clubs, have 2 leadership positions, had a job, and have a lot of community service, do you think I have a chance?
Hi my name is Imani☺️ I watched this video and currently right now I go to OSU but I’m really thinking about transferring my sophomore year! I wanted to know when you transferred and got accepted into spelman, what was the GPA requirement?
You can go to any school, get your degree, and when, you leave school reality starts to sit in. "I'm working for or my supervisor went to a school not on the academic level." "They're making more money than me." All your degree shoes is that school's name in the real world.
Georgia State has one of the best risk management and insurance programs in the world. If you can hack the high-level math you'll have killer high-paid jobs after graduation.
OMG.... Great video.... Keep up the amazing work. Your personality is great... New sub here. Let’s support one another. Please help me grow as well by subscribing to my channel.😊
Omg thank you so much for this video ! I recently got accepted into spelman as a transfer student for the 2019 spring semester and although I am ecstatic about it, if i don't get scholarships accepted then I will have to turn down that opportunity of going to spelman because i have scholarships/grants funding my education at my current university and it would be foolish of me to leave the "free money" and get in debt at spelman..not worth it.
Did you apply for scholarships. I applied for every scholarship I could find. It took week's but I was able to get $7000.00. I still have to pay 10000 but the scholarships helped
You have to make the best decision for you. Cost is a real issue for students regardless of who is paying for it. Private vs public, HBCU vs non, large vs small, local vs not. Those are huge decisions. Who wants to have a student debt of $100k and you are making $40k a year? Public universities get more federal funds and grants. Alumni donations are larger because there more alumni, hence more financial opportunities and programs. You will do well and your mom gave you excellent advice.

Are you a Georgia resident? Did you have to pay in state or out of state tuition for Georgia State? It’s going to be my back up but I live in Charlotte, NC.
