Infamously, the WWE hooked Owen Hart to this device for his entrance at the event Over the Edge, May 23, 1999. Because this device was not meant to support a heavy load, this resulted in Owen falling about 8 stories from the ceiling to the ring below, dying shortly thereafter.
I’m so sad you’re out of business! I loved your custom collars and leashes! I was going to order a custom vest a few months ago and saw your website is down and shops all closed! 😭😭😭
😂 the Kong frog is used in climbing. It holds 22kn and is double safe because of the two locking arms. It is impossible for the dog. You could manage a t-rex with it.
On a rocky journey like that, take extra-special care of your dog's feet. They'll keep climbing with you well beyond the onset of pain and bleeding. Plan ahead.
And dehydration. Dogs must drink a lot because climbing uphill, or walking in high elevations, is exhausting and dogs may walk for hours exposed to direct sun.
When I do (much easier) mountain walks with my GSD, going up is fine, but she's pulling like hell going down, making things dangerous. Even a single pull at the wrong time is risky. How do you handle these events? Suggestions? Thank you!
Hi! Guinness knows "slow down" and "wait" - these commands help a lot while going down or over a hard terrain. Also a small help is that while going down he's already out of the wild excited energy and is not in a rush to get anywhere at that point ;)
The Cobras with built-in D-ring we stock are 45mm so they are too large for 40mm and too small for 50mm collars. We do have 45mm Agitation collars with these.
@@Cgoalkeeping Stitch a portion of a strip in the middle to form a handle and then stitch the ends to the collar. This is not a DIY tutorial so we do not provide measurements of making of our products.
We've sold the last one few days ago. The mini Dancer production has been cancelled due to supply chain problems. Probably they will no longer make it.
OMG! Great Videos, in love with ur dog :D Greetings from Austria 🏔 Mika also loves the Snow and loves to hike, have a look !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EwhO9Uuv8es.html
I like the video but I can't imagine staying clipped into my GSD except for rare circumstances in winter ascents where I might have to help my dog arrest a slide. I've found it very uncomfortable for both parties especially on scrambles - kudos for you for making it work!!
It's polyamide, usually sublimation is made on polyester but we made some trials and polyamide does the work, though the colours sublimated are sometimes a different shade than expected and the details not as sharp.
Hi, our dogs started when they were already adult. I have no proper knowledge to advise on such matter, you might want to consult a vet. Young dogs cannot overwork as this negatively influence their still growing joints.
I do a lot of hiking with my pit and he is getting too old for the hikes I like to bring him on. Was thinking of getting a German Shepard as a hiking companion in the future. I just didn’t know how the breed would handle mountainous terrain. Watching your video and seeing your dogs handling the terrain well was helpful. Great video!
Shepherds do great in rough terrain! You might have noticed in the videos that our dogs handle it differently, the ginger is all about speed and just hopping from rock to rock while the black one climbs slowly with consideration and picks most comfortable ascend/descend route among rocks.
Pit is not fit for high altitude climbing; too short legs, awkward balance, too short hair, easily scratched, easily salivating and losing body fluid, bad eyesight and relies too much on sniffing. Climbing uphill is taxing, dogs dehydrate quicker, breathe faster, they may walk for hours exposed to direct sun and UV, scratch and injure themselves, etc. You want to minimise on all that. Best option is a breed with decent coat length, with a double coat too, pointed muzzle, agile legs and well defined trot, fine balanced walk, with eye level higher than an average dog and with good eyesight, so that the dog does not rely all the time on its nose to find way. So the German Shepherd is just fine, also some type of mountain dogs.
Hey Mia K9 ,great to see ya on the tube, here’s my dog wearing one of your very fine harnesses, has served us very well indeed. Nearly time for an upgrade. 😃
Hi! He was taken from a shelter as a pup - parents unknown. We assume he's GSD / Alaskan Malamute (plume tail and non-stop shedding 😆 ) He's a good singer too :)
He's a natural when it comes to climbing, nevertheless he was assisted by both of us during the descend. One person stays in front just in case and one holds leash from the back so he doesn't slide down.
Can you do a custom solid color on the comfort saddle harness? I saw the picture on your Facebook page with the custom violet and I absolutely love it!
