Do you have the rear of the truck lifted on jackstands? I'm wondering why almost no fluid came out when you pulled the drain plug. If it's on level ground a lot more should come out.
Yeah, I’m one of them. I’m struggling so bad right now to support my two teenage girls. I’m a single father. My truck got repo and I can’t work because I can’t get to work. So yeah it sucks man. I know I’m going through it right now.
much easier to remove from the top. loosen clamp at throttle body and remove the complete air snorkel and i also removed air box which all of this was very easy n quick. then perfect access to compressor without going under vehicle and no need to jack it up or remove the wheel.
This method worked really well to get around everything. Try to use something to hold the compressor up while you align the bolt to install. Great job. No fluid loss.
Just finished doing one. I replaced all the control arms and shocks. Easiest way is to drop the whole thing as an assembly. Then put the new crossmember in an then the diff and cv shafts. The front crossmember bolts suck. The weld nuts break loose. I just welded them back and then used an impact on the bolts with heat. Mapp gas is your friend!
Yeah front bolts was a btch, but i managed removing it by holding a 24 or 22mm wrench. Didnt weld it back and just held it with the wrench to torque the bolts.
@@nobody1322 the 2 piece plastic shroud can be removed by three bolts on top, two in the middle. I didnt remove it completely, but it gave me enough room to work.
I know those are cheap fog lights but look nice, are they worth it? I have normal fog lights with a bulb, but water gets inside, I see these are sealed completely.
Where you getting the VDC lights coming on? Mine are on and staying on. Replace cam shaft sensor, now womdering if these are the culprits (fromt and back)
@@4x4AUTOBOT just VDC lights. They came on, then after a while they go away, rinse and repeat. Was told sensors can cause this. So waiting for all new sensors to be delivered.
Yes, we camped there. You'll b ok to get there with a CRV but you wont be able to drive it into the tent spot, youll have to park it on the side of the road.

@@4x4AUTOBOT meron ako r51 2012 s nabili lastyear 203k km. Wala pa 1k km naitakbo since nakuha ko kasi meron kami isang sasakyan gamit while out of province kami. Could I DM you somehow and send you a video on my Pathfinder? It's making a rattling/ticking noise that gets louder when I'm idling or driving at low speeds. I think it's the timing chain but I'm not sure, obviously. No Check Engine light has came on but I've been hearing the noise for over 4 months now.
The ultimate purpose for the radiator cooler is really to bring the transmission fluid to operating temperature in colder climate. There is an auxilary transmission fluid cooler in front of the radiator already and that's sufficient for what it needs unless you're towing then you can upgrade to bigger aftermarket transmission fluid cooler. Soo, NO its not gonna ruin the transmission at all.
