It's just visual. I think the only real benefit to high lag are those type of activations where ticks are barely impossible with normal calibration. RYLAH for example; with frame perfect front and backends on the final activation, you can get one tick under SP the frame that it runs out (my 1st place does this)
Fantastic speedrun for one of my favorite games of all time. I didn’t realize the Japanese version had actual blood flowing in the torture room. Another example where SNES were censored at the time.
A couple of the sprites are nicer. Aside from that, yeah its a prototype. Nice to see though. For all you SOTN fanboys, this prototype is still better than your game 😂
the input display is very cool, but you could totally remove the "f" and it would still convey the same information while looking a little cleaner. i've been loving the grind. these videos are my bedtime story.
You should try Medium optimal. You need to strum the 1st and 3rd sustains early to get the tiniest bit of extra SP and make the squeeze possible. Expert squeeze has a 4 frame window so it should be very easy to hit if you have no trouble FCing the song.
I don't see an issue. It's just two bone pillars that spawned in the same spot. Sometimes enemies are despawned when walkinh back and forth; others, they get double-spawn.
Just when I thought that I had played this game to death, I discover Hard Mode, haha. The whole game just got even more replay value than it already had.
