This channel also consists of: Fire alarm demo system tests. System tests in other places. Siren tests in other places around the United Kingdom (e.g. Carstairs and Grangemouth).
I do not recommend testing fire alarms without proper knowledge or permission. In my test videos I am permitted to do my tests and have proper knowledge on how to safely test and reset the system.

Nice! Im getting an Esser IQ8 Control M with ten IQ8Quad's. The IQ8Quad's are just squads rebranded, as gent,Esser,Notifier and e.c.t. all bel8ng to Honeywell. The IQ8 is a seperate panel from Esser tho, its not rebranded.
Forgot to mention to you that I have a Roblox game which was created almost 6 years ago and to add a bit more realism, I put gent alarms in one of the buildings. It’s a game based on transport. Alarms come with voice as well lol
Just seen two different vids on here, one of which were gent squads doing a proper old school bell tone and the other was a red gent going through a factory reset, was doing a explosion sound effect 😂
@@Fire_Alarm_And_Safety_AU Apollo discovery is an addressable protocol which needs to be ran on an addressable panel. The panel I am using is an Advanced Electronics MX4100.
@@echoharley6715 I think since this panel is old it was called “point test” it just make sure the leds work on the loops devices. Edit: forgot to say, thank you 😊

I’m going to visit carstairs in may and june so I will see after those tests if any of the shutters are jammed 👍 the ten port side shutter is opening very slowly so it could well be jammed shut. 😔 Lanark CS8 which I filmed in October was found to have a jammed open shutter in march.
How this was so quick - they normally sky rocket to analog level 127 but on default they have a 5 second delay before they actually activate, I’ve disabled that delay so it’s instantaneous to activate once it hits the activation analog level.
@@ElliotMacpherson-go5lzI will at some point it’ll be easier to do now since my shed is emptied of my dads old stuff, also gives me a chance to empty out my boxes and sort all the devices out. 😊
@@obsirensandalarms Ahh I see, this was more or less the same panel my former secondary school had in the music department building which had gent bells and led only gents with no sounders lol
There are lots of different variants like these electro-mechanical ones such as: Klaxon / Secomak CS8’s, Klaxon / Secomak GP8’s, Klaxon MasterBlasters, Gent 2/4/8HP, Gent Tri-Tones, Carters, Castle Castings, etc. There’s also electronic ones that use speakers to make sound such as: Hörmann ECN 600/1200/1800/2400/3000, Klaxon ES1S/2S/3S/4S/Turbo, etc.
Hey, i've got a question on The Panels, Would it be possible to Wire the panel to a Standard UK Plug. Im trying to make a Demo Board of my own & im having trouble with the Panel Wiring
