I’ve dreaded making the NCW, let alone any wallet because I’ve never made card slots before. But I really believe I can do it now because of your great tutorial. It is brilliant! Thank you so much!
I like the shape of your flap. Did you just modify it? I found another video with the card slots measurements, but she did it differently than you did. I now have to figure a way to fix it. 😩Your method is smashing or else the card slots are all the same size. So thank you. 🥰
Thank you! You are an excellent teacher. Might want to add some glue at the inside of the metal fob then insert the vinyl. It will help ensure it stays.
Do you still use flaxseed gel in your hair? Jesus saves! "And they said Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and ye shall be saved and thy house (Acts 16:31 KJV The Holy Bible)."
Thanks for this I did use cotton and put bias tape on back with heat n bond before top stitching edges, and these are MUCH better...I knew there was probably a way! Thanks for coming up with the math! Happy creating
Great Video! I love the tutorial. Just wanted to know if you have a template pattern for 6 card slots inside a cork wristlet using the waterproof canvas fabric so I want need to cut the 8 By 8. The wristlet is 10 .5" wide by 6.25" High. Thanks, Teresa.
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching creating this amazing and brilliant trash bag. I’m really really impressed by your tutorial and how you show it with mistakes and all. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumb’s up too. Please stay safe and well too
Too bad she didn’t answer you, but I’m guessing this is going to apply to any wallet that you’re making because she said to follow the instructions from the pattern for the back pieces
NCW by Emmaline she answered somebody else always best to scroll through the comments. Chances are someone has already asked the same question. Stitch length is 4.5. I’m not sure what thread she used, though in the description under the word “more” she does name a particular thread. I don’t know if it’s what she used in this product.
If you sewed a zipper in each end when you put the lining on, you could make a coin pocket in between the two banks of card slots. Not the NCW pattern I know, but looking at the method and how it could be adapted for other bags
Hi there, thanks so much for this tutorial, however, your backing for the card slots look larger then what the pattern calls for which is 5 by 8 1/2, also the pattern doesn't say "card slot backing", just liner piece, is this the backing? I'm so confused 😕.
After two and a half minutes of watching you work I gave you a thumbs down, wrote this as an explanation, and went to find a video that would teach me about bag making and not simply watch while I make this bag.
Well as the title suggests this is an ASMR video. If you took the time to search a video you'd find I have a Playlist of tutorials and one of them is a Pelican tote. So thanks but you could have kept your rude explanation to yourself.
LOVED THIS!! I have made a few of these and want to make more but the card slots stop me because I just don't like doing them!! Wonder how these would work out with something other than canvas. Also what stitch length are you using here? Is it because it's canvas or do you just like the look? I like the look!!
I use a 4.5 for everything lol...I airways forget to switch back so... I've never tried it with anything other than canvas just because they're no backing
Great video, Thank you, I've got the pattern and haven't made it because of those card slots, now I'll be happy too. by the way LOVE your frog stickers, greens my fav colour and I love frogs lol
