I always wanted to see a Backlund vignette living with his family in a 1950's looking suburbia. With his kids watching tv dressed up like Howdy Doody and his wife brining him a cup of coffee as he's talking about the golden days of wrestling and America. Then he takes a drink of the coffee and snaps! We then see him sitting inside an old abandoned house, staring blankly, just rocking back and forth... 😂
They scrapped the original angle Backlund was supposed to be taken over by Papa Shango, and that was why he gave that blank stare to his hands, like he didn't know what he was doing and not in control of himself. But then they changed it to Mr. Bob Backlund instead. They should have kept the belt on him instead of that waste of space Kevin Nash who almost killed two company's.
Underrated, Bam Bam? Who's underrating him, he's by far one of the most highly praised and highly rated big man in wrestling history, he's definitely not underrated at all.

Some young kid should study this and bring these Backlund moves back and they’ll say he’s an innovator. His schtick where he saw red and hit the chicken wing and then acted shocked afterwards was great.
