@@ColmMcCann-uo6ci do you what we seen for the longest time? people who tend to think that if you scream the loudest, you are right, you are the majority. no, im an irish men with a family that dont do that, that is the majority of europe and the world
We have right wing people in Ireland boasting about never having watched the contest but voting dozens of times. Is that the silent majority you speak of?
@@tonyttt31 hey, I think that's not entirely true. the audience awarded Croatia more points, but that doesn't mean they got more votes. imagine that in the UK Israel got 50 000 votes and Croatia got 5 000 (45k difference) and in another country Croatia got 50 000 and Israel got 49 950 (50 difference). even tough they would've gotten the same result (assuming these two countries were the only one, so 12+10 points for Israel and 10+12 points for Croatia), Israel got more votes. therefore, I think it's somehow correct to say the "silent majority" has spoken (I know the number of votes is not revealed, but I believe a scenario like this could've happened). I hope I could help you
@@joaopalhares2955 It could happen but we can't assume that it did. So I don't think we can say that the silent majority has spoken but perhaps the silent majority may have spoken. We could weight the points from countries with larger populations but even then we just don't know for sure.
you told me i had no taste which still breaks my heart 😂 i’m heartbroken for my baby lasagna and his awesome story, he’ll always be my winner but i’m also happy for switzerland, they were amazing! and idk about the checkbooks, after this overwhelming year i’m not super pumped to go to another eurovision for now 🫠
@@adsmusicalworld Yeah I understand, pression was sort of harsh. Next edition should be more relaxed and you should come - I hope you will feel welcomed in Switzerland.
@@nashtags thank you so much, hopefully this sad feeling towards this year goes away soon so i can be excited about going bankrupt lol, Switzerland is in my bucket list and i’d love to visit 🥰
I think we should talk about it, that the jury once again decided who wins. Its not a competition at the moment, it is Ebu politics. We need to speak up and demand change, not stay quiet. At the moment the only ones that are speaking about the problems are the artists, and we need to back them up. And speak about the problems of this "competition" or admit that there is no true competition.
You sound as if the juries always "decide winner". We had 2 jury winner now, before that we had 2 public winners (Ukraine 2022, Italy 2021). We've also had winners before that where nobody's favorite. Besides, even when a juryfavorite wins, it's not like the juries decided the song has to win. The public vote for another song was just not high enough to overrule the jury vote. I'm not always happy with the juries either, Italy was robbed 2015, but it's a strategy by the competing countries. Croatia 2024 and Finland 2023 banked on being popular with the public, but unlike Italy 2021 try didn't generate enough public votes. It's a gamble. Switzerland went for the opposite, a very clear jury song. And in defense of the juries: Nemo was so brilliant, they had no choice but to vote him into the sky. The swiss delegation banked on this. It's a gamble, once again. If the public vote would've been more centralized on Croatia, they would've won, but we got 3 songs with 300+ votes and 2 with 200+.
@@kennikitty so you think it is okey that we dont reflect whats happened at all and go to the next year with same issues beeing there. And then the next group of artists will have to deal with everything while EBU is hiding. Ok.
@@VenlaKaroliina What the hell are you referring to? In your original post you were complaining about juries deciding the winner and that was what I was commenting on. If you want to complain about EBU politics in general, than just say so l.
?? why am i not supposed to be sad that my winner didn’t end up winning, especially when he won the public vote?? i even said at the end that i wanted croatia to win, of course i’ll be disappointed like bfr…
I have zero sympathy for Eden Golan. She's a grown woman who made the choice to represent a country committing war crimes on thousands of innocent people, tried to con her way to the win with all of those ads in different languages to vote for her, and her delegation caused problems for everyone the entire week. Israel does not deserve to be in Eurovision, and the booing heard around the world confirmed that. EBU, you have one job for Eurovision 2025...BAN ISRAEL!!!
Second year, the same story, the judges determine the winner by thwarting the second place, this is what they did to Finland last year and now to Croatia, it makes sense to you that the winner Switzerland was not in the top 3 of the audience, why do millions of voters equal their voice to 5 corrupt judges who change the real result
I wanted Croatia to win as well but Switzerland is a good winner as well. I hope that Croatia will revamp their national final after such a great result and hopefully win in a couple of years. Also very happy for Ireland, they were so amazing this year. Thank you for your reactions on this year's results, will there be any more videos on this year's contest?
Jugosloven and slavic country cant win eurovision song contest. If loreen got on odds 30 % second place 27. Loreen is winner. But if odds put croatia 80 % second 14. Croatia lose. This is point. Jugosloven and most slavic country never win anymore eurovision
thanks for always being here and for the nice words!🤍 i’m questioning a lot of things regarding this year and experiencing post-esc relief instead of post-esc depression lol… after a super overwhelming week in Malmö, the comments on these videos are not so different… i don’t know if i have any enthusiasm left honestly. if i can find it again soon, i do have some content ideas. to sum it up, everyone should be allowed to feel the way they feel and i’ve been called a lot of things here (due to how my face looked/what i think/feel) which reflects the opposite. we shall see 🫠
Arkada Türk bayrağını görünce mutlu oldum sonra Türkçe konuştuğunu görünce daha da mutlu oldum Umarım bu heyecanı bir gün biz de tekrar tadını alabiliriz
It's beyond right, people loved the Israeli song and fully supported it, they just don't protest which is perfectly fine. The people around the world have spoken!
@@jj-gg5dx i don’t think he couldn’t sing/the performance was bad personally, and i also don’t think it should be the most important thing since it’s a songwriting contest. obviously the public couldn’t probably care less 😂 they vote for what they like however i really don’t understand it, dizzy had the most professional and cinematic staging. i would put it in my top 5 stages list (australia 2019 would also make it to this list) maybe it was too controversial for the public?
well, this season has already ended for me since my first place (belgium) did not make it to final and my runner-up (netherlands) got disqualified 😢 but so happy to see you guys and turkish flag all over the press room. wonderful video as always. #justiceforJoost 💔 sending much love from italy 🤍🤍🤍
I wish czechia would had qualified over austria. Austrias vocals was weak, staging was ok and she was more posing then dancing. Czechia had good vocals and one of the best stagings in the whole competition.
Shame on you!!! You should be out if this competition for coming with political attitude! Thia is not eurovision. Luckily for Israel, the rest of the world think differently. Go support Palestine, wherever it is. Let's see how long you would have lived there. 👎👎👎
