Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
I lived on 2A for most of my time on campus in the late '80s / early '90s. It was an awesome place to be and I have innumerable memories to treasure about being there.
@@maxkeyes7677 One of my kids went to UCLA and I remember thinking that her dorm room was really a small, two-person dorm room refitted for three people where my room in Tyler was a large, three-person dorm room with only two people in it. We figured out ways to heat the room when it was cold and the building was not set to heat (you all know about Longview weather) and keep the ants out (hint: They all seemed to be deathly afraid of Captain Crunch ... no idea why).
@@maxkeyes7677 Oddly enough, I started freshman year on 4B but was quickly moved to 2A by a senior I had met at Giant Step (long story). I have good memories of my brief time on 4B and the crazy people I met there (one built his own rocket, including propellent ... another long story).
Loved this presentation! The insight into the line that the Amish made for their culture juxtaposed with the philosophical implications of technology leading to human intelligence enabling of AI was profoundly intriguing and thought provoking. I appreciated Dr. Rezkalla's insight into this topic and for LeTourneau University posting this lecture.
So.... the Bible says the earth around 6K years old, and you believe that the earth is 4.6B years old, and you believe the bible to be true. Uuuuummm I hate to say it but.... While we're at it, are you OK with a god that supports genocide, slavery, misogyny and other heinous acts? Just to name a few.... Genocide agains ‘child and infant’ (1 Samuel 15:3) Sexual slaves (Numbers 31:18); Killing women and children (Hosea 13:16) and then there's those small problems with god murdering nearly every man, woman and child on earth during the alleged flood (which I also assume you don't think exists) and slave justified in 20+ passages, with the most heinous rules outlined - by god - in Exodus 21???!!! Plzzzzzzzz. Your god is more evil than any other human that has ever lived, Hitler included.
So many things I love about this video. The skills and lessons these students are talking about, including recognizing that God can and does call us to do things besides being "in the ministry," how to look at software development from a Christian perspective, even recognizing that you don't have to have all the answers. It goes on and on throughout the video. So many nuggets of wisdom from these students that will be useful in the professional world for their whole careers. It's been 30 years since I was a student at LeTourneau but it's so great to hear the practical Christianity that applies so easily to the ecosystem of software engineering is still being shared so effectively. A quick shout out to Dr. Baas. It's great to see you there 30 years later. We knew you were going to be a great professor from your interview lecture.
Thank you so much for your kind words of affirmation! We are so thankful to the students and faculty that made this such a meaningful story and the ways that they are impacting the world for the Kingdom of God.
