How many times a day do you stop to think about the air you breathe? The importance of invisible things! If we can't perceive it with our five senses, we think it's unimportant, or nonexistent. The more we are in touch with the invisible scheme of things the more valuable our life becomes. Does this make sense? God is invisiable. Fortunately, God doesn't judge us by the exernal, but by what goes on inside. With him there is no favoritism because we happen to be wealthy, good-looking, in shape, intelligent, or successful. In fact, those qualities can even hinder us,if we are not careful. He is most concerned about what is unseen. He looks at the heart. When we get to our death bed we want to know that God has forgiven us of our sins and we haven't wasted our time doing "our" bidding and not that of the Lord Jesus Christ. What does He want from us? We might say, "Well Lord, I am not a bad person. I am not a criminal,I haven't killed anyone I am a good person" But are we? Are we listening to what HE wants of us or are we just trying to reach external goals?
Most executives...don't even know what the workers do...or how operations are done...they wouldn't last a day...let alone a week at the lowest paying jobs that they "watch over" when eating at TGIF's. The lowest paying people...do all the work..in every field of endeavor.

Your point was very clear and well made. I was wondering recently about the video games badge and this speech clarified how it can be a good scout badge. I like your informal style, your clear voice, vocal variety and hand movements. Sorry if you know this already, but I suggest avoiding using notes as much as possible. It is a bit distracting. I liked the way you told the story. I thought you did a good job of explaining the character for those unfamiliar with the story. You also left the audience with a good moral from the story that can be used in our own lives. I liked the transition from the story telling into your family story. It was like two stories in one.
