Takuya Okamoto was born in Urayasu (Japan) in 1992 and started learning guitar at the age of ten.
Under the guidance and teaching of the master Alvaro Pierri, he completed in 2018 his Master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria), where he was awarded the highest possible grade by unanimous decision.
Despite his young age, Takuya Okamoto has already been awarded multiple international competition prizes both across Europe and Japan and has been invited on numerous occasions to perform and teach at European guitar festivals. He is also currently sponsored by Savarez Strings and Aria Guitars.
Takuya Okamoto has not only demonstrated his distinguished musicianship as a soloist on several occasions - most notably with the New Philharmonic Orchestra Chiba of Japan - but also as a part of different chamber music ensembles, and is quickly establishing himself as one of the most brilliant guitarists in Japan today.
I was experience both works at the same time. It was like eating two meal at once. You can enjoy both of them separately and enjoy the harmony they create when combined. Thanks for it. Have a good day :)
