Social Media is really bad for us !! We always compare ourselves with people we see on Sociak Media. I myself am guilty for this !! I think people who post on this is RICH but we don’t see what happens behind the camera !! They can be in over $200k in debt for all we know !! They have a really nice stocked pantry and all their food is organized and in those nice clear containers but it could all be for show 😂😂
Hi, Could I offer a suggestion? I have enjoyed your videos on Phi Phi, and Railay. But Chelsea, its very difficult to understand what you are saying as you speak fast and run words together. Also I'm American though I love a Brittish accent, yours is hard to follow so I turned on closed captioning. I'm going to continue watching as my wife and I are heading to Thailand in Jan 25. Just sharing ,from a local, Tian Tian is ok but overrated (sorry Tian Tian I have nothing against you!), locals do not qué for it! Tian is noticed by foreigners, particularly westerners, because one Western chef featured it. If you are someone who eats to understand a country, or someone who is really curious about chicken rice and want to know what's the fuse about , then you will get a bleah reaction at Tian. I have seen so many tourists stirring the plate at Maxwell looking disappointed, others convincing themselves they like it because they had already made their way there. The magic of Singapore chicken rice is actually in the rice. While the star should be the poached Chicken retaining it's juiciness and skin staying chewy with collagen, completely unblistered during the cooking, the mark of a good chicken rice, is the rice!! When you taste a good one, you will simply go for bowls and bowls of it , even without the chicken!!! 2 good ones around town worth the trip to are: Chin chin at Purvis street. And basement of the begone era old mall Golden Mile Tower.
You need to come to Singapore from June 15th to August the 9th. On August the 9th is our independence day. We have fighter jets and fireworks every Saturday from June 15th till August the 9th. It is so beautiful, you love Singapore
I'm so curious why u guys won't choose to use a spoon and a fork but instead two forks. I see this very often with westerners, I'm so curious as to why.
1:55 GREAT choice, not many visitors try the prawn noodles but IMO it's one of the hallmark Singapore dishes. It's actually not easy to make - there's lots of preparation involved. But if you're handy in the kitchen, then you can try making the chicken rice at home. You should be able to get most of the required ingredients in the UK.
