@@DJDoubleEdge SALUTE MAN. I am experimenting with IPAD to see if can elevate the sonic quality as I like making music in Koala Sampler but on the ipad sonics suck. Im getting there with the mixing and using certain chains and may send you some stuff when im confident.
@@jayjohnson9894 I’m currently using MIDI out of Key 61 into SP 1200…but as I get more knowledgeable, I will be using my eq. Of “a direct path is the cleanest” 👊🏽💯🫡
@@DJDoubleEdge Remember that some beats or instrumental needs more mixing and or EQ or comprosition or distribution then others. How is your wave file looking visually? A good mix and tone balance can be seen, because if its thin it actually looks thin with gaps and transient spikes all over it, that alone tells You the mix is not good.
I sold two MPC Live 2s to streamline things. The Launchkey 37, Ableton Live 12 and the Pioneer Rev 5 is all I need for the foreseeable future. If any another gear makes its way in. It would be because I fell victim to G.A.S.

I hear you, Im always recording idea on My phone, however I have so much unfinished projects I cant be adding to it with the idea from My mouth. Lol I used to play with My nephew's keyboards.
@@DJDoubleEdgethe DM has a bit of a learning curve. It is slow for me because it's not just learning the gear but learning synthesis as well. I've been having the struggle not to buy more gear because I am at a point in life where I have the money for it. The whole world of modular synthesis is very interesting and Behringer makes it much more affordable. I had to grab that RD-8 MKII because I didn't want to wait too long and miss all the production runs. It is as close to a real TR-808 that I'll ever get and there is definitely a difference in the way that kick drum punches and the snare snaps compared to the samples people use in their MPCs and Maschines.
I dont know brother about a Raffle, I can't answer if I would use a Modern MPC, I haven't bought one because My MPK249 kinda has the exact same controls and pads as the X and Im a Reason DAW head.
@@HOLLASOUNDS I own a MPK 249 and it’s not the same! The MPC X is standalone, the MPK249 is a controller that you have to have connected. Also, all the plugins that come with the X 🤔😳🤯
@@DJDoubleEdge I didn't say theynwas the same, I said they have the exact sme controls IE same pads, same buttons, same knobs. Yes I know the X is a stand alone unit however It can be used in controller mode using in tandom with the MPC DAW. If I used it like that then I'd rather use Reason and a MPK249 to get the exact same functionality and Reason comes with way more plugins then MPC Main DAW.
