@@paterjo8561 it’s true that a lot of what I ride will be tough on analog bikes. You might just need to shorten the routes but the scenery is all worth it
@@paterjo8561 Thank you very much. I like to share the nice trails and give a good cross section of all the terrain so others can determine difficulty levels and scenery

We don’t have gravel roads in Florida. We have limestone (lime rock) in Florida but the limestone they dig out of the ground gets trucked to a concrete plant. Maybe some back road somewhere gets some lime rock dumped on it but almost all of Florida’s roads are paved except some sandy stretches in the back woods somewhere. No one likes to ride in sand!
Where did you film this? I’ve hiked all over the highlands in Grayson County, VA and it doesn’t look like this. It’s different there but this looks like desert.
Sorry, I do not have much insight in to this. I have heard of some unreal FTP's however. The winning effort took an average of 600 Watts for half a lap.
nerve racking. braking in every turn. Wish the turns were a little wider. The tiny climbs combined with the heat take their toll over time. Glad i went. Standing in the sun for 20 mins in pre staging is insane. If you don't do it, you're in the back of an 70+ person field and tough to move up.
I made that mistake last year and had to start from the back. You're right, at those speeds it's very difficult to move up. Glad you went. Next time will go better
+Rich Jones there was a 7 mph breeze (head wind) off of turn three down the outbound leg (the wide open section) so was challenging to make up ground @ 32+ mph. Due to the buildings around the rest of the course there was not much offsetting tail wind and wind was not much of a factor the rest of the course. That is where Bubba attacked and generated the winning gap
+Rich Jones ....fitting end! Actually it was doable, just picked up some kind of lung virus that affected my condition. There was a little hill of 2.4% for .2 miles which we rolled over doing 28 mph. This catches up with you after a while. You would have done just fine!
Rich Jones Hi Rich, no I didn't. Had a major crash in April with seven broken bones, punctured & collapsed lung. Just now building back up. Not sure when I will be up to speed. I'll send you a friend request via FB. Got some cool pics of you from this race. Cheers and congrats on all your wins and great placings since this and including this race! Will
