Now that I don’t walk, I’m passive and quickly back away from anyone getting too close. I avoid crowds because it’s bad form to back over someone’s child. When I was a tall younger woman, I would not step forward in aggression but if someone stepped forward they find that arms elbow was locked.) I have steeped into someone’s space to intimidate them, more than once.

Question: I hy do police often strip chest to chest people and demand to know why they are hostile, or tell people to calm down? We all know that behaviour escelstes. What’s the genuine intention from the Cop in those moments?

@MarkBowden1 - off topic - your accent AND body language is so spot on to Christian Bale's natural linguistics. England has so many different accents but I had never heard one that was similar to his, which I presumed was because he was both an actor who changed accents a lot and because he had lived in the States for many years. Anyway, I'm a bit of an amateur linguist myself, and I absolutely adore your insights and work both on your own and the Behavior Panel. I would say, though, check out some of Bale's natural interviews as he has gotten older and more settled into himself: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TRGHIN2PGIA.html, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rl9NLWfbaiE.html

You read my mind. I was contemplating such content a week ago, and I’m Not admitting this to insult , nor demean anyone. From an unbiased viewpoint, I see blatant opportunity for the production, so to speak, to be enhanced. It would be so easy . I’m guessing , at most , an hour or two of direction/coaching. Most of all, I am so jazzed to see your shared observations are 💯😎🙏 positively identical to what I was witnessing prior to even knowing this video , of yours, existed . 😅🫶

Call me late to the game Mark, it May of /24. That mic is a boundary that put space between you and those watching you, especially on Zoom. Remove the boundary and decreases the level of virtual separation.

Yes... Politicians... Most body-language channels focus too much on murderers and other true crime topics. It's refreshing to see something so different ;) Honestly, though, I've always thought that if I reached true expert level (not like the many "body-language experts" today who I could correct all day long if I cared to), I'd start a channel that focuses on topical stuff thats not so grizzly. While I'm ok with that content, there's a really high barrier to learning about body-language; hear about gruesome murderers or sift through all the garbage elsewhere. There's no channels to point my daughter to and I generally don't feel comfortable telling others like my wife or colleagues where to find good info. There's a bit of topical and fringe content on TBP, yes, but very little.

Interesting Chase, that u mention inheriting sounds. A son of a friend grew up without his biological Dad who i knew well. I was often intrigued to see numerous mannerisms that were so like his Father!! He eventually connected with his Dad in his late 30s; they now have a wonderfully caring, supportive relationship that includes wider family 😊 Love your work guys. ❤ from NZ

My option has been to quit and find a better position. I live in the heart of the Bible belt (deep south of the United States). I had just moved in with my now husband. We opted for cohabitation because we'd both come from really bad marriages. Well, during all this, I thought I'd found my dream job. How wrong I wad! What I found was an office filled with lay preachers as well as two actual pastors. Every day, I was reminded I was living in sin. I was a fallen woman for even being divorced. Living with my partner was sinful, and the fact that I am not Christian made it open season on me. It was a daily occurrence that I'd find tracts left on my desk, hand written post it's with Bible verses along with the comments. After my request that my department head make it stop went unanswered, i went to HR and complained. The result was a department meeting in a large room with a single chair. I was asked to sit in the chair. My department head, one of the pastors, then told the entire department that someone had made an anonymous complaint about people talking about God at work. He ended the meeting by removing the FOUR pictures of Jesus off his wall and sadly saying that while they could no longer have Jesus on their walls, he'd always be in their heart. Now, my complaint had NOTHING to do with any expression of faith. I just wanted to stop being bullied. I quit that same day, and they celebrated the devil leaving the office.

One of my favorite lines from the show Lie To Me was *HOW* Cal Lightman sarcastically said to his daughter “Love yooooouuuu”, when they’d just had an argument and she was a bit upset. He truly did love her, yet he said it sarcastically, to irritate her in a humorous way, as if they’d just had a loving conversation.

Reminds me of the woman who placed a stove on the driveway and taped a sign, "FREE" on it. It sat there for a week. She thought how she could get rid of it and came up with charging $50. Changed her sign and someone stole it overnight. Just goes to show you that something must have value.

I disagree with these guys stay away from it. No, we use it as police officers all the time to get a general sense a certain questions people are going to either look to you straight in the eye and present to you because they’ve already got it in their head how they want the story how they want to be presented and it looks like they’re just telling the truth and they’re looking straight at you in the face and they’re saying This didn’t happen and that happened and it’s like wow they’re really telling the truth when they’re not because they presenting to you. They’re already in their mind have a story so they don’t necessarily have to look left and right, but it’s very subtle and if somebody looks the right to the left, those are little queues so for you to tell people not to buy this or stay away from it is incorrect, we use it all the time and law enforcement all the time as a cop and a general deceitfulness or if someone’s giving you a general truthfulness and it helped

Nothing is an exact and I don’t know where anybody got that if somebody looks up into the right they’re lying. It’s a totality of things. It’s the questioning. It’s their behavior. It’s how they answer. It’s the looking left the looking right the upward look to the right the upward look to the left the inward auditory to the right auditory to the left. It’s all of these things taken into account and you have to be able to Somewhat surmise and say that they either have done a lot of recall or constructing or remembering, auditory feelings, pulling from something that they’ve already felt or here or they recall or they constructing things and you have to put it all in a nice pretty little package in the side where this all lies you can’t just say to the left means they’re into the right means they’re that noyou have to balance this

You come across as very inauthentic because you simply miss the point that you can (a) put the mic further away, (b) turn it down, (c) cut the low - some mics even have a switch. Hide the mic ... I have used a not so expensive samson for meetings and people can simply hear me even if I walk around or turn my head. So ... as a muso, engineer, IT guy from like 30 years+ .... However, psychologically and the way people show off or put the mic in the scene ... good points. People can get all ASMR and mess up.

What kind of generalists these are? How can you enter someone's personal life, you talk about first lady of the united state of america, how shamefully they talk, what media is doing, what their role is, how they are allowed to talk on everyone's dignity, honor, respect, ego, they should be banned forever if they target an individual's personal life. Its a sin to show the people's wife, daughter or any other members on tv, if it is of donald Trump's family or other people Its totally wrong, it could cause a serious problem among four world's famous personalities
