That repair will not last after beating those bearings like that. Always use a socket to push/drive the "fixed" race. The inner for a shaft. The outer for a housing. You will either dimple the races or mar a ball. You may not notice the damage but at high speed it will begin to destroy the bearing. It may last a long time; it may not survive the first use. Why gamble?
