My passion is hair so on this channel I would love to do a lot of hair related videos alongside a few skin care, makeup and fashion videos. Stay tuned for the content coming towards for you.
Babe, have you ever tried the Pure Royal Range? I've seen you using the Dark and Lovely Olive Oil moisturiser. So I went and bought it. Then I was gifted the Pure Royal version of the olive oil moisturiser. So I was just curious about which one is better PS: which product restored the thickness of your hair? I can't use anything with even a Teaspoon of coconut hair. My hair hates it so much
Guys i need help 😭 i have washed my hair 24 times with the neutralizing shampoo (motions moisture neutralizing shampoo) and the lather still comes pink 😭 what can i do?
Have you tried the 5 5 10 method? Meaning leave the neutralising shampoo for 5min wash it off, 5min again wash it off then 10 min and wash it off. I found that letting the shampoo sit in a little allows the shampoo to work faster.
🙆🏽♀️🙆🏽♀️🙆🏽♀️🙆🏽♀️ ohhhhh no. That shouldn’t be the case .Unless the shampoo you got has an issue. I can’t think of why the relaxer would still be in Your hair.
@AmandaMankaa not really 😭. The other one I saw at the store doesn't have a indicator so that doesn't sound like a good idea. And buying online takes time
Thank you for the video! But what can a person do to fix things if they relaxed, but didn't neutralize? Can they just neutralize down the line? Detox treatment?
Hey love, unfortunately there no fix for such an issue as the damage had been done. If your hair is not breaking off, dry, overly stretchy and thinning you might have dodged a bullet. I would neutralise my hair as soon as possible and deep condition with moisture or protein depending on how your hair feels.
Hey love so that just depends on how your hair feels. I don’t protein my hair too often as I don’t feel like my hair needs it as much. If your hair is feeling overly stretchy protein, brittle and dry moisture.
First of all. If you take care of your hair and trim it frequently a relaxer helps it grow better. Most black women don't know how to take care of hair. Literally just from washing, etc. My hair is thick with a relaxer.
Thank you for the informative video. I’m going to add the 5 5 10 method and I’ve also noticed that the shampoo in the kit is not enough hence I always buy the big bottle separately and for the longest time I thought I was crazy 😅❤
I share the same sentiment, i have trimmed my hair twice this past 4 months. Mainly because my hair is thinning at the back ☹️ I keep encouraging myself that volume and health is better than uneven length.
Any other findings after 12months? I also want to stay away from braids with extensions for 12month but I don’t know if I will be able to make it since I never done this before. Is this something you would do again?
Defiantly would do it again. It’s just tricky trying to find ways to style your hair and not over manipulate it. My hair got thick and I learnt how to look after my hair soooo much better that I now just prefer to have my hair out.
Not the 8 washes 😅😅😅yohhh Sisi , but I feel you shame I must see the transition from pink to white and deep conditioning with the shampoo if need be 😅but salons don't be bothered shame
Seems like you're always cutting off.Your hair is your hair that severely damaged on the ends. Here's a suggestion.I teach this on my channel.Use products that give your hair a slip or has slip.Use more hydrating products especially on the ends and you need to be more consistent. Don't use too many heating to on the ends of your hair.Basically, if you keep your ends hydrated and took, you would not have a problem with splittings and that's for real.I hope and pray that you find a routine. That's best for your hair care need.Thank you❤
I got rid of a lot of the damage beginning of the year and I’ve been trying to get it thicker. Because of that my ends have started looking thinner and thinner and the roots thicker and thicker. I didn’t like that look but thought I would slowly trim of the thin hair. I woke up one day and I was tired of the thin look and just cut it off. My hair is where I want it to be now I will not be needed to cut anything for a while I hope🤞🏾. Thank you so much for the advice I truely appreciate it❤️
Am finally where I want my hair to be and hopefully will stay away from the scissors for the rest of the year. This is the cycle I went through when I started my hair journey 3 years back and I know it seems a little scissor happy but when am to happy you will know!!! Thank you love❤️
Damnnn 😢I feel like you be cutting or trimming your hair often . Personally I always regret doing it and have been fighting hair hair length...I've already had a big cut for the year and I'm definitely not ready to even trim 😅

I relaxed my hair a week ago and the salonist combed the relaxer 3 times before washing it out. You said not to comb. What's the disadvantage of combing and how can it be remedied?😢
Your stylist shouldn’t do that. Combing your hair whilst the relaxer is in your strands will just pull hair out of your head, leaving your scalp sore and tender. You’re only supposed to smooth the relaxer into hair with the back of the comb, not using the teeth of the comb.
So with the relaxer in your hair the chemical weakens your hair as it’s working. Think of it as wet toilet paper vs dry toilet paper. When it’s wet and you pull instant break but when it’s dry it has more tug. Hairdressers do this a lot in an effort to get the hair straight however this is not good for the hair. The best remedy is to avoid it talk to your hairdresser to smooth the relaxer with the back of the comb instead.
@@AmandaMankaahow can i get thick hair once my relaxer is bone straight. I also went to a beautician who relaxed my hair bone straight, and I usually leave a little texture when I do my own relaxer.
I feel like a mothers love worked wonders for our hair growing up. I personally went back to the products my mom used on me and her routines and my hair is thriving again. Also, my mom never used to have our hair in professional protective styles because she believes they break off your hair. So thats interesting
For some reason I kind of abandoned that method over the years...also I cannot for the life of me twist my hair 😭 I usually just three strand braid and wash with the relaxer 😅
Yes you can for your next relaxer treatment transition. I would have it professionally done however to ensure that the relaxer is kept in for the right amount of time. Remember to only apply relaxer to the new growth!!
