One thing to note is that Autozone and O'Reilly price matches Wal-Mart. It's about $13 more expensive at Walmart than Amazon but easier hassle to return and keeps the money in the local community. Great video, I'm about to replace mine. Thank you.
Thanks man. My heat isn’t blowing out in the front of the truck. Up top or front. But in the back it’s good. So, I am hoping that it’s just the blower. I have a 2012. With 203,243 miles so she’s starting to demand things from me lol.
Thanks for the video. Crazy thing is that I have to replace both the blower motor and the resistor and change a headlamp. It’s a mystery why every vehicle is made so differently… 🤔
Thank you! So I was wondering, are there two separate motors for the front and the back? There is no air coming out of the front at all, but it does blow out from the middle back.
What the “F”! I spent an hour and a half pulling down on that clip away from the bulb like he says. 1:30 What a jerk what bad advice. You don’t pull the tab down away from the bulb… squeeze the tab UP towards the old bulb and the old bulb pops right out easy as pie!
Dealer's service writer said it would be $300 minimum because they would have to take the whole dash apart. I believed him. Consequently, this went unrepaired for years until I saw this. Took me 10 minutes because I was extra careful. Thank you so much for posting this and doing so without making a stage show out of it! I was so pleased to have these lights working again!
Thank you so much for this detailed video. I ordered my motor on Amazon and I replaced it myself! My husband was impressed. Your video was done so well. I watched it about 4 times before attempting. Watched it while replacing. Total cost was $32.00. Really appreciate the trouble that you went to. Thanks!
