There were so many woman and trans involved with the start of this community/ fandom. It's depressing to see yet another look how we started that forgets they existed
So from someone who’s been playing the games for years. And ran rave events for years.. wanting to have stuff streamed or having people shown and you have people running around in heavy VP Avis can highly affect performance and used to be worse before VRC changed where the memory was saved. Although for most of us it’s poor or better, like this isn’t new tbh it was more heavily enforced. Just something that’s expected when you’re in an 80 person instance, if you’re not willing to change to be at the event don’t be at the event. To be honest their are people who won’t even try to optimize their avi that will roll up in the most heavy avi. Not everyone is running a beefy Pc, and as a host we’re trying to have things go smoothly for everyone not just the person who’s like oh I don’t wanna wear something that makes me look like a potato.. their are good avis out there that are optimized you gotta look for them.. At the end of the day it’s not just about you it’s about everyone else as well.. the bad apples who come up in the most heavy Avis are why this Is a thing.
I really don't get it to be honest. Vrchat have many *many* tools to deal with heavy unoptimised avatar for systems that can't handle them. I have no issue with people not seeing my avatar and only the fallback if it causes issues to their system (and I don't even use a extremely poorly optimised avatar.). It's a bit frustrating that even with theses tools, people with higher-end system cannot fully enjoy what VRchat can offer when their system can take it. (Also on another note, you forgot to include the link for the program you suggested.)
Im not a big fan of forcing it either, but i understand why they are, taking furality umbra and most of the instances being either maxed out, or above the max player count. I can only imagine the crashing that could happen if every avitar was very poor or somehow worse. If you put a quest into rendering 50 very poor avitars along with a massive world that it already struggles with, i would be surprised if it doesnt catch fire if it doesn't crash in 2 seconds, or if it even lets you in the world somehow.
Just activate culling with some aggressive settings. Or if you wanna see more, you can go to Settings > Avatars and then find the block setting, make it block very poor avatars, it'll make you see fallbacks instead. If you're talking to someone who has a very poor avatar, just put them to full view. It's what i did for furality, worked perfectly, it's a bit less immersive, since you see a bunch of weird fallback avatars most of the time, but it works
yo so awesome video but if u wanna attract more audiences u should add like videos of examples of what ur talking about on the camera so u dont have to dance awkwardly in front of the camera and make it boring for most yk but amazing work :)
@@ZiderTheFloof . i want to get more into the vrc community, but i don’t have a headset and i have like SEVERE social anxiety both irl and in game, ive tried playing a few times on my laptop but i just cant fit in like everyone else. (im 16 years old by the way and i have a really squeaky voice still and im insecure about it). i want to get into the furry community as well but i come from a really broke family and due to multiple health issues i have i cant purchase a fursuit or get a job to get one. i see its also hated on a lot and im scared my friends wont feel positive about me anymore if i say i support them or well, personally am one. pls help me im dying
all I can say though if you end up seeing this before you get your pc set-up, be really careful with what you order and who you trust to help cause it's a volatile and risky process, some components might not even fit with the case etc so it could ofc delay things for u, and prebuilds as much as they work are almost always scams depending on people's laziness and inability to understand the more lucrative side of things :3
sounds like a really tough situation there, companies have a tendency to only care about people who have a lot of experience, but you need to actually get to experience it before you can even begin that, it's like bruh.. you can't just create experience, it comes with time, so in a predicament where they only want you if you have experience, but in order to get the experience they need to want you, it contradicts itself, hopefully I didn't word that bad lol
so glad I was able to find an awesome channel so early! I can actually have a channel to be attached to cause let's be real, markiplier is never gonna know we exist XD
