There is no reason not to crush the GRE, even if your school doesn’t require it. As the product of a teenage mom living next to a poor Indian reservation in one of the poorest areas of the US, I can say that it’s easy, regardless of what wealth you grew up with. A 320 is very reasonable and attainable score with any amount of prep work. Everyone will have a 3.5+ GPA. Everyone has CCRN. A great GRE score and interview is what will make you stand out.
UChealth jacket, I am PCA now and start my nursing school next year, and I do really want to get into CRNA; glad I found your channel. Thanks for the information.
Hi thank you for all this information!! I’m currently taking pre requisites for RN program… I have a ways to go but I am determined to make it!! Can you talk about how to get in for people that may not get. 3.6/3.6 GPA in undergrad ? Also are there any programs or grants that can help with CRNA school like scholarships? I really want to avoid taking out loans if I can!! Thank you!!!!
I’m curious on how if it’s any different if I do a private institution school for my BSN. Would that lower my chances on being accepted to a CRNA program?
I do appreciate a lot of the workers rights in California, but the social policy of the state and radical ideology with the rapid spending of their government on useless projects that they don't even complete. For instance, the high-speed rail that was supposed to be done 10 years ago. It would be nice but they're never going to complete it. Sometimes more money and some of the benefits aren't even worth it because the state itself is garbage. Now if you're a single person, you can find a nice place in California to live, but if you want to raise a family, you can't even send them to the public schools. They're either just garbage academically or their social cesspools.
I'm a new nurse! I really want to, both, travel but also become a CRNA, like you. I feel like I can't do both.. but now I feel there's hope and I can. How can I become a CCRN the fastest and save for CRNA school. I want to save for 4 years and apply to CRNA school when i'm 40-41 yr old. Can you make a video about this, share the schools you looked into for CRNA school, why you chose the one you did and didn't choose the others, and how to save or get scholarships for CRNA school. I'm single so I will have to fund my schooling and living expenses for the whole 3-4 years of CRNA school.
What if you duplicate your housing but work at a facility less than 50 miles away from your home base? Say it’s 25 miles away and while you technically couldddd commute, you don’t want to do that long of a commute so you pay for a short term rental near that job?
Sad video. Just trying to make money. And no, nurses aren't angels! CRNAs are just quack wanna-be! Just want the money and THINK if they have an advanced degree that they know how to take care of people! It's all BS and the patients pay the price.
I'm in my last semester of nursing school - I wish I would have tried mind-mapping earlier! Tying all the info together and understanding the big picture makes it sink in way better than just trying to memorize facts on their own! Do you find that mind-mapping is helpful for CRNA school as well?
Nurses and PACU nurses in particular are angels on Earth. No offense but God save me from ever needing their care. Gotz chills thinking about some procedures.
Please drop the study guide video!! I'm in anesthesia principles right now, and it is my hardest class. I'm also currently reading M&M & Nagelhout, plus doing APEX and I would love to see how you create your study guide! 🙂
A doctor listened to my sons breathing. She questioned herself and got another doctor to check if she was missing something and that definitely saved my 3-year-old's life because his intestine and liver were pushed into his diaphragm causing faint breathing sounds. Thank God she didn't push that to the side.
Yes please make a step by step for you make your study guides. I’m in an ADN program now and have to retake a class because I didn’t have good study habits and have trouble staying focused. I’ve created a plan to do well moving forward but I’d love to incorporate any helpful tips and tricks from how you make your study guides! 🙏🏽
I have med surg experience and currently work full time ICU and just signed up for my first per diem shift. The shift is PACU. I believe I’ll do great, but I’m not sure what to expect. I’m nervous
@@queennef4485 Loans, military (my route), savings. Every cent you can save while working as a nurse should be going to savings, live within the means while a SRNA. Family and or spouse. Along with looking into the PLUS loan. As long as you graduate you’ll have no issue paying the loans back, if your brave enough you can pick up shits on weekends or PRN.
Thank you for this. I’m in week 6 of working as a new grad nurse. I know I want to become a CRNA in the future and appreciate you for giving us these tips.
Great video! I have 4 years of ED experience and I have traveled two out of those 4. I found a school that takes ED experience. I am hoping to start school in 2026. One option I have been looking into as far as financial help is HPSP through Air Force
Hi Anna, I’m 99 percent sure that I’m going to take the AA route but I just wanted to say that I enjoy watching your videos so much and get excited to see how you’re moving through the program semester by semester. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
