I haven't seen this episode, so not gonna lie, I expected the blue collar looking guy to start getting defensive and even stand up and try fighting him (not knowing Tony's a gangster). I was expecting a brutal butt-kicking scene where the guy gets literally mobbed, but the writers obviously decided to go another route .. A more peaceful one. 😄
A show full of sad people watched by sad people. Imagine nearly crying because someone in a restaurant has a cap on. Can't help but think these shows are for people with tiny dick syndrome.
I don’t know if anyone seems to notice this but during the Series Finale, Tony is wearing the exact same shirt he wore when Uncle Jun shot him in the stomach.
Say what you want about the Mob. they are dignified and respect must be earned. Artie is always the first to complain but always does nothing about it, that is one of the differences between him and Tony. Balls.
Every time I see someone wearing a baseball cap in a restaurant I know they are American. Most times they’re drinking Pepsi and have a bottle of tomato sauce on the table as well 😂
"Nobody ever went broke underesti.atimg the taste of the american public." And then agent Harris throws up immediatley after that. Was that David Chases way of giving a big f you to the American publics taste?
The message is that he acts as the owner of the place. Egomaniac. Narcisistic. Control Freak. Vulgar display of power. He wanted the impress the chick.
Lost is the respect for civility. The mob made their money from the weak willing to throw their lives away and respected those with whom they had no dealings. Gone is any sense of propriety and this was years ago, look at us now. :(
I feel this…I was eating at a "owned" restaurant on Federal Hill in Providence with a cap on. The "concierge" asked me to remove it. He asked politely and I saw no reason to not to comply. I felt this was a man with respect for his job and work environment. We behaved like gentlemen. It actually made me feel good.😊
This is the problem with things today, A whole generation thinking Tony is some kind of Hero, doling out some twisted republican ruleset. But in reality he is scum , he is trash and guys like him always get what they deserve eventually a bullet. Now James Gadolfini God rest his soul , did some very fine acting.Just a shame people only remember him from this trash show
My Irish grandfather (WWII U.S. Army Vet) would never tolerate hats at the dinner table... a rule passed down by my father to me. Important to show respect. Never know who you might be insulting. Irish and Italians understand this. Woe to those who act like woke ass pricks.
