You can enter any dimension on the home screen and divide by 2 (click the yellow divide button then 2 and press equals) or tap on a dimension on the input line and select the /2 quick math option. Please feel free to email me at WinogradApps@gmail.com if you have any other questions
Most calculators are not set up well to do this. You would need to calculate 1/16 = 0.0625, so for 7' 3 1/16 you would need to do 7*12 = 84 inches + 3 inches + 0.0625 inches. For this calculator (new layout video here: ru-vid.com4ML0fiINRh8), you can simply tap the 7, then the 3, then the 1/16 button
Thanks for making the video! FYI: on that 370x400 example, you can also just isolate the K to one side, since there are 3 zeros. So you have 37*4*K or 37*2*2*K. That way you don't have to deal with any zeros. You can do this for any calculation where all you're doing is multiplying.
One method is for calculating the average margin if you know the prices of the two components. One method is for calculating an unknown component if you know the weighted average. Feel free to ask any specific questions here and I'd be happy to walk through the methods!
Thanks!! Glad you're enjoying it. Unfortunately it's only for mobile devices. If you really need it on your computer, you can get an android emulator, but it's probably easiest just to have your phone or tablet nearby.
Use the m, cm, and mm buttons to input metric. You can switch back and forth as required! Even tap the top right number to switch output between yards, feet, inches, meters, cm, and mm.
I'm working on a subscription to remove the ads but having some trouble with the code. A few other projects have come up that I need to take care of first, but its definitely on the list of things to do! Thanks for the feedback!
You can now purchase the app for a one-time fee on Android. The same will be available on iPhone when Apple reviews the update (usually within a few days)
