One time I went to visit someone in the hospital an old man. We said prayers in the ward there was my work mate who was also there looking after he son who has been ill for years. He was the age of my son. You can see bones at him. Ok when finishing prayers with the old man then we proceeded to them. I was with my son and my daughter l allowed them tonpray the short healing prayer. Atfer few days the old man and the youth passed on. I was so guilty coz at the end it says healing in both this wotld and the world to come
I played double bass in this orchestra, and I was covered with goosebumps during every rehearsal and performance. This piece took a lot of rehearsing to get it just right, which I never minded. I still got goosebumps watching this again after all these years. I became a great fan of Tierney Sutton after this. Can you blame me? BTW, my husband Bob was the principal clarinetist and my daughter Anissa sang in the choir. What a fantastic experience it was for our family!
Hey Wendy, that’s great to hear… Yes, I was in the Choir too. This was my absolute favorite piece and that’s saying quite a bit because they were many pieces of music here that pierced my heart.
I've played in orchestras under Tom Price, I've sung in his choirs, and he's just as much fun and loving when he does all that as when he gives these lectures. I hope he's still doing that somewhere.
I absolutely _love_ all of Graham Major's pieces. I've directed choirs that sang many of them. Please give him my regards. I ran into him on a New York street during this event in 1992. He gave me his address, and I sent him a tape of all the performances I had of my choirs and chamber choirs singing his songs. He wrote me later by email that all his Christmases and all his birthdays were rolled into one with that tape. I'm so happy to know he's still with us!
@@wendyscott8425 I will definitely pass this on to Graham. Very much alive and well here in Tasmania. How lovely to have made contact through this site. 😊

You were inspirational to me , a few years after my visit to Australia, I studied Music theory and Piano, from U of Toronto. . Received 11 certificates, now I have 50 of my own Piano creations on You Tube
Tom Price let me stay at his his apartment in 1980 . Toms wife and 3 year old Joal, welcomed me as if I was a family member.. I was 21 years ago Baha'i from Canada.. at that time
Five years after the Bahá'í World Congress, I happened to see Tierney at Bosch Bahá'í School. I ran up to her, threw my arms around her, and burst into tears. All because of this song. She was just starting her jazz career by then and gave me a CD, which I took to our nearby jazz station. My husband and I went to all her gigs whenever she was even slightly near where we lived. He has passed on now. Between this and the Carnegie Hall concert in 2002, we had some of our peak life experiences playing and singing this glorious Bahá'í music!
I KNOW OTHERS HAVE DONE THE DAWN BREAKERS, ... I ENJOYED THE LOVE YOU [ MR. PRICE ] PUT INTO IT, WITH MUSIC AND YOUR VOICE DRAWS ONE TO LISTENING...ITS LIKE DRAMA AND SINCE WE don't have too many Baha'i Radio stations or that many Baha'i movies YOU DO FINE... i PRAY you are well HEALTH WISE again THANK YOU FOR CHAPTER ONE...next time I visit MARTH ROOTS i will say a special aid and assistance & a healing prayer for you and your family...Aloha...
One of the most astounding pieces of music I have ever heard. It’s as if the actual Maid Of Heaven composed it Herself to give it to Graham and then She told Tierney how to sing it.
God and Bahá'u'lláh bless his pure, radiant soul. I loved and respected him so, Dr. Heshmat Farhoumand was is a wonderful Bahá'i gentleman, he was my older Bahá'i brother and my mentor.. Mehrdad Badiian.
What a lovely gathering and speaker. The place is so beautiful, comfortable, intimate and cozy. The subject is wonderful. I am so glad it is on RU-vid.I can enjoy it 7 years later. Thank you for posting.
It is my opinion that people should not b viewed as giving the impression that they are eligible for public service thru, expeciationally speaking! I can elobrate if asked🤗

This was written by Graham Major, someone who I am proud to know on Quora. Beautiful, exquisite. True story: I'm playing this right now while my wife is sleeping on the sofa. She hears this and says, "Who wrote that? Can you send [email] it to me?" When she asks that I know she really likes something and believe me my wife is not easy to please when it comes to classical music. She doesn't even like MY stuff. So I told her just now, "That's my good friend in Tasmania." Graham, I'm telling you, this should be on your own channel here on RU-vid along with your other music.
Hi JJ. This is Melanie here. There is nothing Graham has written that I don’t get goosebumps upon hearing. It’s as though he has a direct connection to the realms on high and a good ear to copy exactly what he hears. I loved what you wrote about your wife. Thanks for posting even though I know it was an entire year ago. 🙏😘 p s this is the best version I have heard of this song too. Tierney is the perfect interpreter.
