Question - Which do you prefer of the knurlings: Rep Double Black Diamond or the Rogue Hybrid Bar with the AggroX2? I just picked up the AggroX2 and thought it would be more aggressive. Maybe I should’ve gotten the AggroX3 🤦🏻♂️
@@DERDMa little more aggressive than my stainless steel rogue Ohio power bar with volcano knurling. Texas power bar has mountain knurling. baresteel is nice if you maintain it on the regular basis with a nice patina.

The thin collars are so much better. I can lift heavier weights and the weight feels easier .with the updated TPB vs the old version with the fat collars Especially when I use KG plates
This is incredible! And I’ve always thought the Ox Bar looked so cool. One of the better looking trap bars for sure. I don’t do decline pressing but I may incorporate this now with my open trap bar. Separately, would you consider getting the Vulcan Absolute competition bumpers? Think you could do a sick review on them and I haven’t seen anyone review them yet.
Thanks for these comparison videos. Would love to see a detailed one someday. I agree that Vulcan Alphas are superior to the Rogue Flecks without question. If you want the Flecks to fit tighter, you can get some UHMW tape from Amazon and tape the inside of the holes and they should fit just as tightly as the Alphas if not tighter.
I own this bar as well. Super nice and affordable relative to the other options. I also really like the built-in stand. It makes it so much easier for loading. That's probably my favorite part along with the long sleeves.
@@silentangel251 the Spider is a tight fit when it comes to racking and spotter arms. It will work, but doesn't have a lot of lateral area for arms. SSBs are a bit easier for spotter arms with more room for error.
The main thing for a tighter fit is there is less wobble then doing olympic lifts. This is really only noticed when having only a single plate on the bar. Also less wobble, the less noise. Multiple plates don't seem to matter with this as much. Wobble over time will do more wear on plates when doing lifts that are dropped. But not sure how much or if it's significant enough.
Is there any other purpose, than cosmetic, for the fleck pattern, or is it just for looks? I don't understand. They're even marketed as "FLECK PLATES", as if that should mean something.
Awesome content, are you only able to do this on decline to avoid the bar hitting your face during the counterbalance of the weights and no collar spin?
