I learned about podium not the eulogy.

Note: A lectern is not a podium. Consider the word, "podiatrist", as an easy way to keep the terms separate. The podium is the raised platform upon which one stands on their *feet* to deliver a *lecture* - behind the lectern. I am very surprised that even professional media refer to a lectern as a podium.
