Thank you for being a core piece of our community, we hope you enjoy the content.
Couldn’t agree more. Laser focused on the now to get the project done so we can live fully afterward. Appreciate the comment/support. Good luck this season!
You should show the remodel in the way you run your channel. Then you’re still putting out content. I’m having a shirt made for my wife called “ Cabbage Dragons and Karen” from Glenn’s video of our musky trip which was a play on your channel’s title.
If I had time to film it more and edit it, I would. I’ve been way too busy for that, unfortunately. I meant to drop this video two months ago and I just got around to it. We will be back before too long. Good luck this season!
Kyle, you are making waves in the industry without fishing, we won't keep up when you get back on the water. I know way more than most, as you and I talk weekly, but I am so EXCITED about what Cabbage Dragon Media has in store. Good things happen to good people, and you sir, are a class act. It's my favorite RU-vid channel, one of my favorite guys to talk muskies, and life with, someone I trust, and someone I'm rooting for. You are what the musky industry needs..... season 2024 loading.....................
Appreciate the kind words, Glenn. Very excited for the season and can't wait to get back after it. In the meantime, the 54 or Bust team has been keeping us entertained in our limited downtime with some elite bait videos. Keep it up, talk soon.
rumor has it the muskies are only biting for the next few weeks bite will probably be over in say oh 5 or 6 weeks....... but don't worry there's always next year :)
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately you are unable to fish a half hour before sunrise and a half hour after sunset on Eagle. Maximizing casts around those low light periods is key, especially on the more clear sections of the lake where the fish tend to push into the basin during the day and peak sun timeframes.
I've caught much bigger muskies, but my girlfriends 41" first musky is (by far) my favorite musky memory. Getting someone their first is unforgettable! Awesome video!
Thanks for watching. I couldn’t agree more with you. This is by far my favorite musky and memory and I feel so fortunate to have captured it on camera. Good luck this season!
Thanks for watching! Yes, that is where I run a GoPro for the full boat view. The Everlok is just a painter's pole that I can extend and collapse for saving footage or running across the lake. It worked well last year.
I couldn’t agree more! She’s the star, no doubt. I mostly wear the gloves in the morning because we are in the boat and headed to the first spot before the sun rises and my hands get cold early in the morning. They also help with gripping the rod, especially when your hands are cold.
This is the high bar for musky adventure content. Way more than catch fest TV, this is the real world, the real struggle the real reward. I already see your style on content being copied, but you are so authentic, whereas copycats area just that. Kyle and Cabbage Dragon crew, hats off, keep the bar high and can't wait for your next adventure! Don't look back, your future is ahead of you...
Appreciate the feedback and support, Glenn! It was a fun trip to document. I wish we had more content from the last few days but the Muskies were being Muskies. Big things to come this year.
Thanks for tuning in. Agree, fish will push shallow earlier in the year, especially in cold fronts. But it definitely seems like in September they seem to group up on shallow flats and are easier to contact in greater numbers.
Thanks for watching. We stay at Pine Beach Lodge. They have a main lodge building and then individual cabins for groups of guests. Awesome sand beach and a great family oriented lodge.
With this high of quality footage from 2022 and plenty after with your game only improving I’m a little confused how you’re still not over 1K subscribers 😂 soon man. Keep grinding
Appreciate the comment. That 1k threshold has never mattered much to me. I could probably post a few shorts and get up around 3k but I don’t want hollow subscribers. I want folks that actually want to see my long form stuff.
Just a banger of a video, almost too much info and fun in this one! The best of the Skaife/Wegner POV catch content mixed with the Siemens style videography, this is near perfection! This. Is. The. Future. Of. Musky. Content.
Such a great video! The story telling, the videography, fish handling tips and amazing first musky. Keep it up Kyle and can’t wait for more cabbage dragon media!
Always appreciate the support, Gus! Can’t wait to see some of the footage you capture this year and start putting out. Hopefully we get to collaborate in October!
