I just yanked out a long abandoned Bryant AC unit that was under a deck (that was trying to cover everything up). I just set it out near the alley and pondered the next dump run to get rid of it. Overnight it was gone. Can these be fixed or is there a ton of copper to harvest that would make it worth humping an old piece of equipment around?
im a building engineer and we have had 5/6 compressors go bad on a setup like this and I know we had a bad install [they used zoomlock fittings] we took the ones leaking out ... few days later another compressor goes out I noticed hvac tech doing repairs on roof brazed in an access port and a bullet piercing valve?!?!? i was like wtf is that doing on a daiken unit?? anyways im gonna check the refnets tomorrow and make sure there installed flat but I saw someone say they need inverted trap for oil?
