Kindra, your exploration of storytelling's enduring power is truly eye-opening. Your insights have inspired me to rethink how I approach leadership and communication. Thank you for sharing such valuable wisdom!
Well RIP 🪦 Steve I am happy you felt that power for a minute and a half, but all powerful man still die and are mostly forgotten except a few pages of history! You want to know who is the most powerful person in the world 🌎? Yup you guessed it he who has defeated death ☠️ and the grave 🪦 JESUS CHRIST 🎚️ the king of all kings! Now that’s power 💪🏼 that can not be bought or duplicated! Amen 🙏
Just listened to your book. Super helpful! I was also a speech kid in high school (original oratory) and have just started making RU-vid content. I really wrote this comment though to tell you that I love your “look” and you are beautiful!
Oh wow! Your first book is truly a masterpiece that pushed me into the rabbit hall of storytelling. It's such a great book. My life changed after reading that book. So I want to thank you for the great service you're doing for the world with your stories. I respect you. I love you. And I wish you all the very best for your book launch. Love, WD
Dear Kindra.. love from India. I liked your video. It helped me understanding why it is important to focus on stories to define and integrate values. Keep the good work on!
Found ur videos and they have been so helpful i have a pitch i need to do this coming monday and had no idea how to do it and still a little ify about it but with these videos have help me see the direction im going to take to tell my pitch story thank you!
Please stop building these cults of personality around people who were smart, yes, but were also incredibly lucky in their circumstances. The world doesn't need more people following charismatic individuals because they've been taught to be in awe of them.
Yes, I am sure there's absolutely nothing to learn from Steve Jobs, one of the most wealthy men and prolific businessmen of all time, who has built the largest company to date ($3T Market Cap). Yup. Nothing. All luck. /s
Luck opens the door to audience, but once you have their attention people will keep listening only if you have something of value to share. People kept listening to Steve Jobs because he offered a story that was of great value. Unlike you. You are just a jealous hater.
Does this also apply when you are doing storytelling with a different medium or just presentations? I get the logic. As soon as you said it I knew what you were going to say. Storytelling in the medium of videos can get away with it I guess.
I love your points here. The art of the pause is where comedic timing comes from. But, as you're saying here, there are so many other uses of it that can make an impact!
What an interesting point! I also like the idea that going back to the story you used to tell will illuminate your own progress, your own change - which is part of the original story.
Hi Kindra, I joined Toastmasters recently and completed my first speech! My mentor David introduced me to your videos...thank you for sharing your amazing gift with us all. Your captivating stories.
Love it, Kindra. One of the most popular questions I get asked after keynotes or workshops on human connection is, "But what if I don't have time to connect deeply with people?" My response is always, is really doesn't take as long as you think. That shot of empathy or perspective can be very quick and very profound. Great reminder about the driver.
Kindra, I just finished your book , and I loved it. I am a 59-year-old lawyer, and I found it full of helpful information. I am recommending to my 27-year-old and 24-year-old sons that they read it.
