Honestly kind of exhausted just from watching this (and/or not getting enough sleep last night because I was having too much fun watching the project for awesome livestream). Thank you so much for educating us about UMDF!
Voting for Project for Awesome opens on February 16 at 12 PM ET. You can vote for UMDF Here - www.projectforawesome.com/watch?v=H-VYW8d5cSI Please vote for your other favorite charities at www.projectforawesome.com/
Thank you for watching! I know there are a ton of P4A videos and I appreciate the time you took to watch this one :) If you want to vote for UMDF, please head to this link - www.projectforawesome.com/watch?v=IhLIarKRxfE Even if you don't vote for UMDF, we hope you'll learn more about UMDF and Mitochondrial Disease - www.umdf.org/
An extended cut of this interview will be coming out because Grace talked more about research, education, and the free genetic testing they are offering, but we wanted to keep the video as short as possible because we know folks will be watching a lot of videos during P4A. If you want to see the longer interview, I will place it in the comments once it is complete and uploaded! Please vote for UMDF for Project for Awesome 2022! Check out the website and vote for all of your favorite charities! www.projectforawesome.com/
The video briefly got worse at 0:56 but so much better at 0:58; It was getting so perfect but darn it you cut it at 1:25 right as the little grooming face's nose popped out. I did listen intently but the cat paws kept my eyes pinned on the bottom right corner most of the time-though I did watch enough to get a thought in my head: you kind of remind me of Katherine Green a decade or so ago (or maybe it's just pre-Orin, the only thing to slightly change her face a little bit despite time otherwise barely making a dent in their visuals)! Anyway, I thought I'd come post-livestream/voting to leave a comment and say hello and simply make a suggestion to always and forever let the cat be completely in frame for vlog-style videos. I assure you, we'll still hear it but have two things to look at! :) (Oh, and to be fully honest, I also waited until after making and having a real meal that wasn't made pre-livestreams and reheated in the microwave lol... extreme devotion is only unhealthy at this level when chronic insomnia results-a little delay in sleep and shortened sleep one night isn't so bad when the likes of Pat Rothfuss reading Ferdinand to us and singing One Hippopotami to us is the result)! As someone with a rare (and probably genetic since there are two nations, both pretty isolated, that have much larger clusters of patients, but there aren't enough of us to have our own foundation) disease, I voted for your video! TYFBA!
ahahahaha, I will make sure that next year's P4A features a kitty!! If you did want to travel back in time, my 2014 P4A video features many kitties in the frame (for as long as I could keep them sitting)! 😄 DFTBA and I know I'm a couple weeks early, but happy rare disease day!!
@@LifeOfInsamity Weeks, months... what is time anymore? Thanks, though! :) I do still appreciate the adorable pink paw pads making sure to eventually make themselves shown after turning-my current parasitic feline is a butt-in-face type-gone are the early months where her tiny head would be on my chest against my heart or nuzzled under my chin or in my armpit... now it's all about her tail using my head as a tennis ball or something of the sort! Your friend is incredibly lucky to have you around! Guessing the master feline is feeling like you were a pretty good pick, too!
Informative video, even if the pandemic spoiled your original plans. And I agree that P4A 2019 feels like an entire eternity ago. Hope you've had a happy P4A, and DFTBA!
Great cause! With the right care and treatment and wisely invested attention, it is possible to live a healthy and productive life with a disease. Happy P4A and DFTBA!
This charity is the one I made my first P4A video on. One of my college littles has mito so this organization is very special to me. Absolutely wonderful video!!
y'all...I didn't realize I look so tired in this video 😞 ALSO I forgot to ask you to vote for UMDF and this video on www.projectforawesome.com/ Please consider voting, or at least learning a bit more about Mitochondrial Disease and UMDF! www.umdf.org/ DFTBA
Use low or no sulphates and it might help with the dry hair. I only wash my hair with low sulphate shampoo once a week. I cowash my hair once a week too. Using a conditioner with no silicones. Deep conditioner once a week. Dry crunchy hair can be from a few things: 1: too much protein 2: moisture overload (fatigue) 3: sulphates in shampoo. Only problem is you have to play around with it all until you figure out which it is.
Love the video. I also got involved in P4A this year, but what I wanted to share with you is the story I filmed of a mother and her baby who have Mitochondrial Disease - it's so touching. bit.ly/ZiyaYT. Maybe also consider subscribing if you like it :)
I supported this charity for my first P4A video in 2017! (not this channel but meganthenerdygirly)! My little at college has mito and she is amazing a helped me so much to learn about this charity!
@@JaylaCucu She is both adorable and a trouble maker. She leads her two litter mates into all kind of messes! It makes me think - is it a self fulfilling prophecy or is she really just trouble?
Thanks for making this video! I like that charity, and I'm excited to have learned about them. One of your cats looks almost exactly like one of my cats who we adopted through the charity I'm supporting this year. Cats are awesome!
