UPDATE 5/27/22: All of these buildings have been complete as of now. Next to Mirabella ASU, a 16-story, 330-room Omni Hotel is under construction, and will be complete in 2023.
I was at this garage a few weeks ago. I think the reason you got busted was because this Garage I think is owned by Chase. Technically it is private property.
I always think of this building as public/private property because this building has government/commercial offices. Most of the tenants there are from pima county and the city of tucson. There is no problem filming in public properties (courthouses & parking garages) but private properties (office buildings & malls) they do. Btw there is a tiny hydraulic parking garage elevator inside the building and near the back door (the door on church avenue)
Wow, that security guard was extremely rude. I'm sorry you experienced that. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. It sounds like that garage could also be owned by an office building too.
If this is private property they have the right to ask you to leave however if this is a city owned garage they had no right to do this. Either way they were quite rude.
You are not going to believe this: This is a ThyssenKrupp Evolution 200!! I believe you are one of the first (if not _the_ first) to find one of these!!! 😁😱 These are different than the Synergy Model. Evolution 200s have a control panel in the door jamb on the highest floor. You can clearly see the control panel at: 0:20, 1:24, 1:46, 1:52 Plus, these do not run like Synergy. 👍 These cannot be Evolution 100, as these are much too fast and travel too high (max for 100 is 75 ft)
Wow that guy was a rude asshole. Is the garage owned by the city? If so this is public property and he has no right to pull that kind of shit. If I were you I would find out and complain.
