My name is Daniel, and I am just a casual sim racer who makes a few RU-vid Videos. I fell in love with Sim Racing when I started driving Grand Prix legends. I enjoy using my IT expertise to help people install older sim games that are difficult to install on a modern computer operating system, I also fiddle around with mod physics and skins, along with a love of taking awesome screenshots and editing them in Photoshop resulting in amazing images of epic virtual cars. Finally, I love the history of Motorsport and try to intertwine that into many of my videos, especially when I visit the sites of actual or former race tracks. I hope you all enjoy!
Hey Dude, thanks for the Video! Question 1: Does the Moza Adapter Plate fits to Fanatec QR1? Question 2: Which Poster do you have behind you, it looks fantastic! Cheers Alex
You know you can add "canned" FFB effects in the surfaces file? I do that with ALOT of the conversions from other games which have pool table smooth track surfaces (a pet peeve of mine). Not sure why the converting authors smoothen out the road meshes but it makes the tracks feel utterly lifeless and boring.
Nice ones to highlight, the 2 litre Piper is a great match with the smaller engine WSC cars too. Would be amazing if Tyrone could make a semi-fictional '60s version of this amazing track with slightly wider tarmac - when you take the crests at speed it can be a real challenge.
The game Fuel already tried this, had 5560 square miles (or 8947 sq. km) of space. Reality is that unless the locations are detailed and interesting, the total amount doesn't really matter. I guess it's neat from a technical standpoint, but considering we already have the entire planet flyable, there's probably not much wow factor to that stuff anymore.
This game is actually amazing when you get used to the handling. This isn't an arcade racing game, it's a sim and the physics are actually done quite well, on par with things like GTR 2. This game isn't about the graphics, it's about the realistic handling and the varied track and car selection. Also, keep in mind when looking at the graphics that this game is 20 years old now. Xpand Rally Xtreme has slightly better graphics and also goes on sale often. Both games have a slight learning curve if you're used to more casual racing games like Dirt and NFS.
I’ve been using the TB wheel since they released it. It’s really a nice set! Customer Service has been amazing in helping with any issues that I’ve come across and quickly replaced anything that was broken. (Multiple times)
I can NOT recommend any Turtle Beach products! My 100 Euro Controller failed internaly after only 3 months of normal use. Had multiple issues all the result of cheap internals! My 25 Euro controller did well for 3+ years withbno issues.
Nice to see a review for a casual game. How about reviewing some of these: Formula Retro Racing Retrowave Retro Parking Barro Racing Horizon Chase Turbo Ultimate Racing 2D 80's Overdrive Traffic Racer Highway Online Traffic Tour Checkered Flag Traffic Chase Slipstream ?
