I live abroad some of the year and when i return to the UK the place looks so run down,i was talking to a young man who is living near where i am staying,he said the knife bank at the local Police station is over flowing!I said what about the Food banks in country which is regarded by many as rich!Alot of foreign people think the UK streets are paved with gold, they should come take a look at the pot holes ,high house prices, cost of living, just a big rip off!Sad but true!
Your justifications for renting in Thailand do make a lot of sense. My hack to the system on this as you said comes from buying cheap and to do that ive took to auction houses (im in a different country). Auctions do have pitfalls which needs thorough research first but the option is there if you ever want to snap something up cheap.
Chilled red wine believe it or not there’s parts of southern France where they chill their red wine in the summer. I forget which one they were drinking. So there’s always an exception to the rules. 👍
You will also fall foul of capital gains tax when you do come to sell if you do rent it out at anytime the UK Government will make sure they take their cut
Same as all , glad you are back . My plan is also to retire in Thailand. House built already. I agree, sell up cash out from England. Things are going bad there . As an Aussie my recommendation is cash out and go t9 a free country, Thailand 🇹🇭
I rent my property out and live in New Zealand. I don't need a property manager they are just middle man between you and the tenant. You just need a good relationship with the tenant and a few good contacts with handyman, saves me a small fortune
I agree with you there boss! Rent in Thailand is best and not just because you can always up sticks and try a new location. You avoid maintenance and standing charges. 😊 Chok dee khrap!
I feel sympathy for our country, low income people are now suffering to survive yet inflation and recession keep increasing daily, many families can't even enhance the good cost of living anymore. You've helped me a lot Sir Brian! Imagine I invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days

Oliver's army is on their waaay...🎶🎵🎶 Old punk on a bench in the countryside scoffing double nut dessert and cider eh? Made me chuckle! Good luck with the sale, it really will all get sorted and you'll look back and think that was nothing much. English countryside looks quite nice anyway, watch out for the yobbos!
Sorry to hear about the issue selling your property. My last one took 6 buyers to sell after 5 dropped out! It sold in the end so stay positive and I look forward to your future videos. I’m in Kettering.
thanks for the update. it certainly makes sense to get rid of that property. instead of keeping cash in the bank melting away, did you consider bitcoin? looking forward to your continuing journey! all the best man!
When your flying back to Thailand next month, please do a video leaving the uk and hopefully you get a window seat. Love these videos...hopefully your house issue will get sorted asap
