Not only did the mother request a well check but 2 others and CPS did NOTHING. Had CPS followed up with a welfare check, they would still be alive!. Search FB, there are hundreds of thousands of victim targets tormented & tortured crying out for help!! Thousands of our children have been severed from protective parents and imprisoned to domestic terrorists! Family Courts ARE NOT Educated or Trained in DV. I'm in Thurston County and they have FAILED & Abandoned victim targets. A data disparity is a direct result of the ineffective & inefficient services and the lack of "training" and "insight"! Top 2 Nationwide DV needs are, have been, and will continue to be until funds are appropriately managed; (1) Housing - Envision tiny homes and vere away from "projects" leading to silos and more disparity. (2) Legal Defense - If children are involved, that removes potentially proper prosecution & protection as well as legal representation which is supposed to be a SIXTH AMENDMENT right but where the exploitation entered was in the verbiage being "criminal defendants" and so ALL disclosed Domestic Abuse, Sexual Abuses, Child Abuses e.g. rape, molestation, physical, & psychological ARE funnelled through Family Courts!! If victims can't pay to retain legal representation, the winners are always the Abusers & the said professionals. No PROSECUTORIAL actions are taken in Family Courts! The weaponization and manipulation is a smorgasbord where victims are further beaten down, fully exploited, traumatized, re-victimized, dehumanized, pathologized, demoralized, criminalized, absurdly sanctioned, 80+% of victims are coercively forced into involuntary servitude as they lose custody and are forced to watch their children being imprisoned stifled and bound by the professional ignorance & greed! Further forced to "play nice" shut up, & take it, with their terrorist! This is MIRRORED GLOBALLY, a pandemic in itself!
Neither 1 nor 2 are tangibly met! Billions circulate!! There is no longer a need nor want for anymore "Informational Kiosks"! These are pretty & shiny and all have 26 arrows pointing to 26 more Informational Kiosks. Investments should be in training Law Enforcement & FAMILY COURTS or cease all hearings held there whenever there's any disclosures of the aforementioned! It's extremely debilitating and disheartening when target victims DO come forward and do ask for HELP, to call the police, to call CPS, and YES Punitive sanctions and Involuntary Servitude takes place instead!! Scale Polls out like ACES in the communities of inquiry e.g. school, medical providers offices, all of the DV professed advocacies, mental health providers, CPS, CourtHouses! Data, data, data. Just data! But also, communicate to these places to KEEP & HOUSE THE DATA for the next polling! At the end of the day these advocacy groups have to apply for their funding therefore, the empirical data is available at any moment! I have a great IDEA! As a STATE -Investment NEEDS to be appropriated for the best interest and resolution to all right, well VAWA has significantly increased as far as federal funding and if there isn't already a plan for WA as a whole.. Now's the time to pitch statewide inclusivity! Bring in as a STATE an actual platform that provides training, data, analysis, assisted decision making, control wheels, regular refreshing & renewing trainings (1xyr once kicked off) Safe and Together Institute has a dang good model & platform! They KNOW THEIR DOMESTIC ABUSE! They also KNOW rehabilitation! I volunteered & sat on a board as a teenager and brought fellow at risk youth, gang bangers, school dropouts, and juvenile delinquents together with law enforcement on the beat for conversations, for basketball, for getting to know one another as individual people. We spent safe time together. We did field trips to prisons, to the Capital, to State Agencies. House Bill 1449 to Criminalize Coercive Control is available. Please 🙏 write your Legislators and Senators asking for their support to pass this law in WA! Pls!! Predictions e.g. Pandemic and DV expectations…There has to be a better comprehension and flow to address current unmet need first! ....just thinking that some of the leg work with those involved in large scale emergency prep management (WA annual earthquake emerg mgmt) may be of some insight.. FYI, where are the actual victims in discussing solutions? None on the panel? Inconclusive and incomplete. As clearly identified there's no data providing lived experiences.
