Matthew 5:1-2 (NLT) One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, and he began to teach them.
In 1997 an air force combat jet fighter pilot was practicing high-speed arial maneuvers in at night. The pilot pushed the control stick forward for what the pilot thought was a steep ascent-and flew straight into the ground. The pilot was unaware that they had been flying upside down. The pilot lacked situational awareness. What if we lack situational awareness? What if we have lost our bearings & sense of direction? What if we have no clue if we are flying upside down or right-side up? What if we are moving so fast that we have lost focus of what is most important? What if we are so distracted by our selfish determinations that we don’t even know we are going the wrong way until we push the stick one more time and crash and burn. You are 100% correct. The same experiment have been done with grass hoppers in a jar. Although the grass hopper could jump 20 inches, it only jumped 8 after being kept in an 8 inch jar. At first he tried to jump through the lid but after he couldn’t make it, he started jumping right just before the end of the lid, and he remained with this jump to the point his kids only jumped 8 inches. Never let anything pull what you want to be or who you want to be away from you!❤

Amazing that my former student should be delving into the same philosophical issues I am, but totally without my guidance now. Maybe both of us did something right. I could go on, but I want to respect others privacy. As a fellow author and wordsmith, Michelle, I noticed you glossed the juxtaposition of disagreement and hatred. I find that in my own life to be a bit frustrating. Having taught English, I find it hard to accept changing the meaning of words to suit my purposes, just to give a stronger rebuff to anyone who doesn't dot thei I the same as I do.
