During any new events respawn gives in game currencies to content creators to buy it and showcase it to their fans/followers to tempt them to buy the same. Even a 2-7k followers youtube guys gets coins from apex during events. For respawn give freely to these content creators is not a problem at all because with these streamer followers they get earn in lump amounts. Not only apex does these freebies to streamers, fortnite, call of duty and even AAA games does these.
