I guess my motivation is more to become a better pianist cause I figured, if I can write with my left hand, I'll have more control over the hand and its fingers, hence making both my hands equally good at playing and well balanced
Helps the brain to create new networks. The glide of a fountain pen makes writing more comfortable. Learned to write with non-dominate hand ten years ago.
I broke my left arm (yes I am a lefty) so I needed to write in school and I started getting used to my right hand and after a few days I became an ambidextrous and could write with both hands perfectly
I was born as a lefty but my parents were Always against it so they train me to use my right but growing up it was really difficult to not know what hand is dominant so i began using both handed (ambidextrous)
I remember 5 years ago when I was still little, me and my friend started out a left hand writing challenge for fun. Soon, we dropped that and let it go. Looking back at the silliness, I decided to redo the same thing but this time, I won’t drop it again!! Edit: I’ve been making so much progress although it is the 5th day I started practicing. Kudos to me!!!
I was born ambidextrous but at school I was punished for writing left handed so I only wrote with my right hand. Nowadays I do most things left handed, but I still haven’t gotten my left hand writing back yet. Hopefully I can get it back
My mother is left handed but was also punished because being left handed is evil , so she practiced writing with her right hand she can do things both ways now 😅
I'm ambidextrous to the point where most people can't tell which hand I've used for which part of writing if they're not super familiar with my handwriting quirks. I form some of the letters differently left-handed than I do right-handed. Back when I was in grade school, I was told that I had to pick which hand I wanted to use and highly encouraged to use my right hand. I was in middle school or early high school when I transitioned back over to being more left-handed. Nowadays, it's a nice skill to have in case one of my hands gets tired or if I want to write something down while eating or cooking, I don't have to put down the utensils. If anyone has seen his short videos, Karl Kopinski, an artist who has done some Magic the Gathering illustrations, has posted a few videos of sketching with both hands at once, though I think he's more left-handed than right-handed.
Yeah, having a broken finger sucks. This video has actually helped me in a very short amount of time and I'm actually pretty good at writing with my left hand.

Tbf as he said 87 percent of thr words population is right handed 12 are left and 1 are ambidextrous personally I use both hands often but I can't write with my left was never taught to it's like that for a few people cause again a lot of us are made to only learn right
Years ago I was told I was ambidextrous but then I was told I had to learn Right or Left or the school refused to teach me.... I choose right and I always regret it because I hit a wall and my writing is still crap.
I've been a right handed writer from the beginning, untill middle school I did a switch to my left hand , I have no idea how I've done it before, going back seems like an impossible mission now 😕
when i was 4 years old and i needed to go to school for the first time so i needed to choose which hand i should use to write and to draw idk what is left and what is right hand so i chose one hand and that was.... left yes i am a lefty from childhood but i want to write with my right hand also that thought came into my mind in 6th grade then i kept practicing with my right my left hand and now finally in 2023 i am now a ambidextrous and i can write with my both hands perfectly

I draw, and my hand has been getting very tiered, and gets cramps and locks up every so often, so I want to train my left hand to write and keep my right hand for drawing only. My writing has gotten pretty good, it's the speed now that I need to master.
