The CR450 Fuxing series with a running speed of 400km/h will roll off the production line before the end of this year, but it is not known when it will begin formal commercial operation.
Social credit score is a rumor that is widely spread outside of China, but people in China don't know anything about it. Stop spreading this ridiculous rumor.
😂😂😂 like it or not... without China, there would be no expert inventors in the modern era before they invaded China; Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, English... Name the discoveries of Western nations before the 1200s (just one) ? the answer is 0... the Mongols got gunpowder after invading China in the 1200s and up to the 1300s, and England got gunpowder when the Mongols tried to invade Europe
China's most impressive development in recent years is its infrastructure network, the high speed train connects four corners of China and is fast, clean and efficient, great for travelers from both inside and outside the country!
Depends what country you’re from. I’m from the UK so I had to fill in a form online then visit the Chinese Visa Centre in London to apply for it. Cost about £130 for a 2 year visa if I remember correctly
I rode on it in September. As we approached Beijing I got up and took my bags, I didn't realise the train was still moving and we had 10 mins to go. It was that smooth! I thought we had stopped!!
What you've heard on the train is a bit like the airline blacklist. For example, if someone smoked on the train, activated the automatic speed reduction, and caused the delay (and probably further chaos for the whole system), they will probably get restricted from taking the train for a certain period according to the regulations, and that’s all.
@@freddiesflightreviews disabled/old/pregnant people/senior citizens get right of way. At least at ticket checking area. But if there are army and/or firefighters, they get the first right of way.
@@freddiesflightreviews In China's high-speed rail system, business class is the best, better than first class. If you buy a business class ticket, you will have a dedicated lounge and a staff to guide you on the train.
Which number did you call to manage to reserve seats for your flights? We also booked flights on Shenzhen Airlines LHR -> SZN but can't view our booking online. Tried calling Air China as you advised in your video but they told me they couldn't assist us and that we need to contact Shenzhen Airlines directly.
I can’t remember the exact number but it was definitely the Air China UK office and they were able to help. Maybe if you try again you’ll get a more competent person to help.
There’s a catch that people need to realise when they fly with Chinese Airlines from Europe to Asia and vice versa. You will be flying over Russia, which is currently being sanctioned for its war in Ukraine. In 2021, a Ryanair flight from Athens to Vilnius was overflying Belarus when Belarusian ATC ordered the aircraft to land in Minsk over an alleged bomb threat on board. Once the plane landed, police rapidly boarded the plane to apprehend one of the passengers; Roman Protasevich and his girlfriend, Sofia. The above named individuals had been outspoken critics of the Belarusian government, which has maintained close working ties with Russia throughout the war in Ukraine. If you have been extremely vocal against Russia for its political actions, it is highly advisable that you do not use a Chinese airline to fly from Europe to Asia, due to the very possible nature of arbitrary arrest over Russian airspace. Also consider that China has been playing a major role in assisting Russian war efforts thus far and remains one of Putin’s best allies.
this flight is ceair‘s domestic hub to hub route so all is the best stander. now ceair's c919 is serving on shanghai to xian, but it based at sha(shanghai hongqiao) airport.
Great onboard experience. Looks comfortable and you certainly won't go hungry or thirsty on China Eastern. Shanghai Airport's vast glass windows look amazing for plane spotting! Out of interest, why do you find the flight to Karamy a random route? Surely this flight connects Karamay with the international hubs that are Xi'an and Shanghai. I imagine it's similar to UK domestic flights- after all Aberdeen has a population of 225k and Newcastle's population is 310k and they both have numerous daily flights to Amsterdam and Heathrow.
That’s true, I suppose by connecting Xi’an and Shanghai to Karamay on the same route they’re killing two birds with one stone, no need to operate two separate routes. I’d just never heard of the place and its so far away. Need to brush up on my Chinese geography.
Can I just say that it might differ since the crew could be different and I feel like your just being bias of labelling the 787-9 to hong kong from london is just bad(no offence)
Well, I would say British Airways 787-9 is bad specifically compared to most of their other planes. The cabin is outdated with small screens. Compared to the newer A350s and older but retrofitted 777s it’s just bad.
3:37 Spring Airlines, China‘s first, largest and most successful LCC, based at Shanghai and uses A320 series only. That plane still has the old livery. I thought you'd be flying the C919 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Xi'An, but it turns out the flight you're on offers similar catering standard to the C919.
Sing stinges. Malaysia Airlines is definitely more generous. Helpful and pleasant cabin crew. The cabin colour schemes could be more improved / different ? red / purple is a stark combination. Less calming/welcoming.
This company is a complete rip-off and scam! I've been trying for over four years to get a refund for a flight that cost me over $4,000 for my family during the COVID pandemic. Instead of refunding me, they issued CashPoints without my consent, then shut down the route between the USA and Europe. Their only response was to suggest I use the points for my family in Europe. To make matters worse, they closed my case, wiped out my CashPoints, and never even notified me. When I finally reached out to them by email, after struggling to get in contact, their response was, "Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the expiration date of your CashPoints any further. This year, the management team concluded that customers would not be notified, as CashPoints had already been extended twice." Now, they’re acting like it's my fault. This company is truly the biggest scam!
Safety videos in Southeast Asia go unnecessarily hard. Took a Thai AsiaAir flight from Bangkok to Cambodia and they had me actually laughing out loud. If you think that's embarrassing, I was danciny to it on the way back. Make safety fun and peoole will happily pay attention imo
Flew Vueling from Gatwick to Rome. We sat in 1A and 1B because I wanted some extra legroom. That was an extra 120UK pounds. We were advised because someone onboard had a nut allergy that no nuts or biscuits were to be served. Service started and 1C was offered refreshments and we were completely ignored. I opened up my goody bag given by our tour guide and the only snack was a nut bar which I ate. All the Spanish crew wanted to do was rush through the service and close themselves in the Galley and gossip. Sloppy and slack crew with a true, don’t give a shit attitude. Will never fly them again. Booked our remaining flights with SAS.
I don’t want to insult a whole nation, but I’m my experience Spanish Airlines (especially Iberia) have some of the worst crew. Acting like it’s a chore to give any form of service.
This is one flight I'd like to do in the opposite direction as I live near Gatwick. I've not flown for 40yrs and want to do a local flight before I get on a bigger jet. Sounds just what I'm looking for, no crowds and easy check in/out.
Terminal 3 at Heathrow was opened in 1963. The other terminals, 4 opened in 1988, 5 opened 2008 and 2 opened in 2013. So yes Terminal 3 does require modification or a complete rebuild after 61 years. Terminal 1 opened in 1969 and decommissioned 2013.
It's just so civilised flying short haul in Asia compared to Europe. Airports with seats in the departure lounge instead of tensa barriers for queuing, inflight service and entertainment and space for hand baggage. It's like the good old days of flying! Regarding your delay, I once checked in for an Air France flight at Seoul Incheon and was handed a printed letter apologising for a 20 minute delay and stating a new departure time of 20 minutes later than scheduled. That would never happen on BA at Heathrow.
Thank you!! I will make the same trip from London to Ho Chi Minh with a transfer in Shenzhen, with my 11yo daughter as her BDay present. Now Im much calmer 😂❤
Well, whilst we were there they were doing building works on the roof during the daytime (like 10am to 4pm), so we could hear that. But otherwise we didn’t notice any outdoor noises.
