@@ranjitbir How long did you go for? What airline did you go with? British Airways, EVA, Gulf Air or Thai? I normally go with British Airways but sometimes with EVA and Thai.
Hi Ranjit lovely vlog very informative 👍 however I was wondering if you could explain me the rtpcr within 72 hrs since you have visited Delhi. I find it rather confusing.I'd be flying to Delhi from Heathrow next week my flight departs at 2pm on Thursday so I assume is it acceptable to get swabbed on Monday anytime after 2pm and should your Rtpcr test be within the 72 hrs when you land at Delhi too.Cheers 👍🙏
Ha karann, just remember that the test should be done 72 hours before your check in time. So yes you can get the test done anytime after 2pm on Monday. But I would recommend you to do the test 48 hours before if you can. We got our test done at a drive thru in Heathrow Airport 48 hours before and got the result in 4 hours. The company we used was www.expresstest.co.uk/heathrow-landing/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwssyJBhDXARIsAK98ITTzOdVm6P-LWXXLSX--VOx_bhfaP_gu6irOeAPqM-oOXsI7NnE2AqcaAtFfEALw_wcB. I hope this helps and safe travels to you.
Thanks a ton pal that was so prompt and not to mention your explanation was spot on 👍 last but not the least thank you for the link too I am based in Newcastle and there's a branch here too 🙏
@@kiron434 no problem at all. I'm actually returning to UK on 8th September so there will be a updated video of my travel and all the processes involved in returning to UK as a amber listed country. Make sure you subscribe and like. There will be many more videos soon. All the best. 🙏
Thanks for your video. Do you have any information about Medical visa to India… My partner got serious dental issues. Let me know if you know anything about this specific visa. Thanks
Hi tejinder, sorry for the late reply. I believe there is a medical visa that you can get to the come to India but my knowledge is not great. When I was looking at how to traveling to India in February 2021 I saw that they mentioned the only way to to get to India with a visa was either by family illness in India, business visa or medical visa. I don't know if that still is the case as India has been removed from the red list and now is on amber list from UK. However India still isn't issuing tourist/visiting visas. But I will say this, if you can get doctor or hospital in India to sender you documents to day you need this treatment the India embassy will allow you to come to India. Another thing is India is not very tough on issuing emergency visas as they just want the money. If you understand what I mean🤫
Hi , One question, i am travelling to India and i have domestic flight , i am going to take covid rt-pcr test here in London and 72 hrs before, so by the time i reach delhi i am inside that 72 hrs bracket , is the pcr report which is done here(In london) is checked again somewhere in between travel till i reach my domestic destination ?
As far as I know, you only need to do the rt-pcr test to board the flight to India. So it doesn't matter if you have a connecting flight in India. You will also have to do another rt-pcr test in the airport in India where you land. The cost in February was 800 rupees and the result is given to you by phone in 24-48 hours.
Yes there is a 7 day home quarantine requirement. This was the case in February 2021 when I uploaded this video and its currently the same now in July 2021.
One more thing to clarify is the 7 day home quarantine in India only applies if you have a negative rt-pcr test 72 hours before boarding you flight in the UK and again when you arrive in India. If when you arrive in India and you do the mandatory rt-pcr test in any of the arrival airports in India and are found to be positive with covid 19 you will have to extend your home quarantine for another 7 days which means you'll be quarantined for 14 days in total from the moment you arrive at the your destination in India.
You can thank America's thirst for oil for building that. These countries couldn't afford to build these kinds of structures unless they sold oil to Westerners, especially the United States.
