Never use mod podge bc if it rain, thats going to mess up the glitter. I use light even coats of E6000 glue. That way if it rain, the glitter is not coming lose. Just some e tra tips
You did a great job but y'all doing to much. You making your work harder by sanding your sneakers. The sneakers don't have to be sand down but i do use acetone to take the factory finish coat off and thats all you have to do. Also, press your glitter into your glue. Take a paint brush to knock off or brush the excess glitter each time you put a layer of glitter. Once finished and glitter is dried, then take a toothbrush and brush off the excess glitter. Do not spray a sealer bc it takes away the shine or sparkling away. Just some tips to help you along the way.
@ParanoidAndroid721 I don’t think I would hoop in them again tbh. This was my first time. They didn’t wow me like I thought. I’ve tried the 11’s 12’s and 13’s and the 13’s were the best.
I know I was late. But this is when I purchased the shoe. I didn’t see a review talking about how horrible of a design it was so I made one for the people.
I don’t really like to throw around the word “fake”. Every shoe is real. Just that some are Branded by big companies and that makes them “real” to ppl. But would you rock a rep of a branded sneaker?
I don’t really use the word “fake” a shoe is a shoe. Rep is more what im asking. Every shoe is made by someone, big companies just Brand the shoe to make it what it is. Would you rock these?
Reps, cheap ones too. At least the more expensive ones do have real carbon fiber. I mean the icey blue sole is too icey, but I had to check that carbon fiber to be 100% sure. Shape is off in the front as well.
@@CustomFeens already do. If it’s available under retail and authentic quality, that’s a no brainer. But for shoes that don’t have a rep, it’s gotta be under $150 or I’m not buying it. I could care less about hype, but I’m not paying ridiculous resale for anything. I buy what I like for the right price rep or authentic. Nobody knows the difference, especially on foot. I’ve worn rep cigar 6’s to sneakercon and got nothing but compliments if that tells you how much people don’t know the difference.
I’ve come across a lot of good reps in the custom shoe business. And I can honestly say, some of them are great. I’m come across reps that had less flaws than a branded shoe. So, what’s a fake shoe anymore…?
Maybe. I’ve never used red rubberized paint. What brand would you recommend I try? I’m always up for new ways to make my customs more cool and efficient for my customers and viewers!
I’ve noticed PUMA on the come up. Although, I have to say that this shoe was designed poorly on the sole. The bottom ripped off of on both pair. I did a review of them showing it. Check it out.
What has sneakers heads come to to put on sole protection like I get the sneaker to wear them it doesn’t matter what they are I bought them I’m gonna wear them come on now.
A sole protector doesn’t stop you from wearing the shoe. It simply keeps whatever color or design you made on the sole of the shoe looking good. When you walk, other people can see the bottom of the shoe and it looks good. If it isn’t for you, don’t put on a sole protector…or simply don’t paint the bottom of your shoe. For the people who want paint on the bottom and want to keep it nice… sole protector. It’s really simple.
I get that it’s to keep the sole nice but it kinda defeats the purpose of actually having sneakers like you go through all the effort to keep them looking good might as well not wear them.
It really doesn’t defeat the purpose of having sneakers. If you’re going somewhere you know you are going to be rough on your shoes, wear the shoe for that setting. Someone who wears a customized shoe proabably isn’t going to be doing extracurricular activities. It’s not difficult to keep your shoes looking nice.
My grommet tool is on setting. It’s 3/16 of an inch. So first I used punch pliers to make the eyelet hole big enough, then, came back with the grommet tool to install the gold grommets.
Music is horrible. You should’ve did the video. I just talked all the way through it. Stella use that horrible music thumbs down bra and I’m from Detroit.
Yea, well if you’re from Detroit, do better. The only thing understandable about your comment is “Music is horrible”. Everything after that make absolutely no sense. And if you don’t like the music, make some, and maybe I’ll feature your trash ass music in one of my videos. The page and this video is about teaching how to customize shoes, not make music. You gave a thumbs down because of the music and not the value of the video. Stop hating, you’re a crab and it’s sad you are from Detroit.
Maybe a couple thin spray coats of clear flex seal. The flex leaves a rubberized coating and probably can be cleaned and touched up as needed, potentially keeping the red pristine looking 🤔
