Alaska life and DIY projects in my trailer and home. I lived full time in a fifth wheel for 8 months and learned a ton about renovating and decorating in a travel trailer. Sewing, painting and decorating spaces is my jam. Exploring Alaska and mom life Vlogs, I post all the things I love and I don’t post on a schedule. Thank you. No measuring ! You made this so easy. I’m doing outdoor cushions. Finished my back pillows and have been looking for an easy video for weeks. So many out there say easy but are not. Thanks again.
I spent 5hrs trying to do cushions for my camper before I had the sence to look on line... Now bear in mind I can make dungarees.. dress trousers.. coats and shirts.. Why did I struggle to do my cushions well those other items I have made all had patterns which I followed... 😂😂... When I came across your video I was very excited.. It took me 2hrs to make 4 large cushion covers😮😮😮😊😊😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.... Many thanks for your video and good look with your channel.❤
Thank you so much. This is just what I needed to recover our RV cushions. Your instructions and method of teaching is easy to follow for those of us who sew and others who do not.
Hello Lauryne, now that you're nine months on, with little ones everywhere in the house I imagine, what do you think of the product, it's wear, and the adhesive you used? I appreciate how straightforward you made it look and I have all the layout tools. Thanks!!
We are looking to buy a pop up this spring! In our 60s and want to enjoy time away and you have showed us how cozy a home away from home can be! I look forward to all your videos!
Love all your creative ideas! We are utilizing many of your ideas for our pop-up renovation! I don't see dimensions on the backsplash you built above the stove. What material did you use to apply backsplash to and what is your dimensions? You mentioned you have it attached with hinges that allow you to just pull it up. My pop up is an older Coleman Westlake and the bar that pulls the stove/sink prohibits me from being able to hinge the upper decorative backsplash, so I will have to figure out a different means to secure it and store it. Thank you for all your videos!
I just found found you as I was googling pop up trailers. Unfortunately also acquired was a pop-up trailer frame I have a long way to go to build it out and stay warm yet... I subscribed anyways but every Tuesday and new video? That's impressive maybe that's the motivation I need to try that. I've taken 200 little short videos but I've never publish any of them yet... I'm a little scared... Besides I know I would have to edit some of the sailor talk out of them and I don't know how to do that.
Love this! Now I just need to figure out how to set up this little sewing machine I got haha I haven’t touched a sewing machine since 7th grade :S wish me luck!
This helped tremendously!! I had super ugly outdated dinette cushions for my camper I’m renovating and slip covers online were all plain and expensive! And they didn’t even cover the back! Bought a really cute fabric that matches my theme and lucked out on finding your tutorial! ❤
I'd suggest putting the whole 1st pcs.on the front ( opposite S yours) and put the seam farthest back towards the wall. Because more than likely you'll put stuff on the. Counter against the wall and doing it this way you'll have stuff covering the seam.farther back. If the seam is like yours it's in the front 1/3 and visible.
I did not realize how easy sewing cushions for a camper would be? You make it look so easy!! Great video. I might have to go buy a machine and start on my 5 cushions.
You're a lifesaver... Soooo simple & fit snug. With your method, I'm going to make another set in a different fabric/print to change out. You're truly a genius. Thank You.
