Any advice for a prior service Marine who is going to school full time and looking into getting into ROTC to get commissioned in the military, I’m debating between Army and Air Force. Once I got out of the Marines I went right into Army National Guard for the state of NC. I’m not sure if I’ll make it an Air Force as an officer or if the promotion and time in service with be better in the AF or in the Army?
Even if I don’t go to the Air Force (looking at different branches too) I’m really looking forward to joining the military. Im 24 years old and I wish I joined after high school. I hope it’s not to late for me.

Thanks for sharing. My son went to BMT this morning. I’m curious as to what he will be experiencing. He called his wife and basically just said he was there. She said the call was only about 5 seconds long. We didn’t get an address to write to. From your video I’m guessing we may get that in a couple of days.

You gotta get with the right one. I actually avoided being in a relationship when I was still in the service and when I deployed. I didn’t want no “Dear John” letter or some nonsense. I remember coming back from Kuwait two of my buddies whom were married with kids had there wives leaves them because of the deployment. It was so bizarre because they had been caught off guard and been with for 10 plus years.
I have two a few questions: 1. Are you allowed in with bad credit? 2. Is Basic Training difficult if you’re starting at 38 years of age? 3. Is there any study test to practice in order to take the ASVAB?
