Was a fabulous interview. Greg gave Robert space to walk into and RJ did the rest. I was fond of Bolton Byrd so was great to hear about him as well. These kinds of interviews with prominent trainers / drivers gifts the public a great insight into the game. 10/10. Would be awesome Greg if you could encourage Pete Jones to do a similar interview. I spoke with him about Cup day for him, his wonderful dad DG and Hands Down. Pete having his first drive in the Cup at 26 and beating Delightful Lady is priceless along with his three Easter Cups and the many great wins of the mighty Tussle. The Jones dynasty has like the Purdon dynasty achieved greatness. Exploring that would be Gold.
"I love a sunburnt country" J Mac lives down the road from Ms McKellar the poet who penned those words. My kids grew up here in the eastern suburbs. Good choice place to live mate. Wonderful people, I will miss them immensely. They were tough on me but always fair and in my times of hardship of late, the first to support, call and boot me up the arse, but with a huge amount of love too. Dawn and Pete, will miss you both, love you heaps and thank you for what you have done for our industry. Enjoy the company of each other and look forward to Pete building a shortlist to purchase my next filly - after Dawn has signed it off ❤️❤️👌🏇 thanks both, much love
