I bought a 75 Hz monitor, when I set it to 60 I notice it is more fluid (watching videos or playing games) When I set 75 it seems that everything is going at like 50 or 40 fps
60hz is more than enough but if you are a casual gamer than 100hz is sufficient, if you are a serious gamer than pick 240 or 340 hz if you got used to using high refresh hz you surely feel like missing out even in normal usage like dragging windows and someother things. it's silly but yeah it's hard to give up once you get used to high hz
This is my feedback, 100hz is an improvement over 60hz if you are on a budget gaming monitor. It may not look much different in some games like Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis but make sure your V-Sync is enabled to get better performance.
Is it better to get 100hz monitor if I can hit almost 100fps all the time on most games I play or get 180hz for 70€more but only game I will hit around 144 fps stable is cs2 and valorant and I don't like to use freesync
i moved from 60hz to 165hz and i can say in some games like geometry dash it changes alot but in fps games like valorant there is literally no difference. And also a youtuber once moved from 360 to 60hz and he said the same thing too
My PC cost 450 bucks used on E-Bay and I run run these exact settings on HD with arround 70 fps, you just gotta build knowledge to PCs and find some good deals.
@arazzz6696 do you use the gearup booster for mw3 to help with ping and packet loss it seems to be the only thing that helps is it safe from ban on that game specifically. Also for your advanced network adapter settings… how do u have all those options i dont have a lot of those advanced settings for example I lost the rss queues option when I updated my Ethernet adapter driver. But I had to update it to stop crashing in the game. I have the same adapter name as u but not the same advanced settings. Also plz lmk about the gearup.
You can still use full screen and use something like NIS (Nvidia image scaling) or FSR for AMD... or even better...set the resolution scale from game...Or, if you're really on "low end", use performance mode. Anyway, thanks for the upload; I don't play Fortnite, but appreciate the tip
"LOW END" with a RTX 3060 and 12th gen i5 and enable performance mode you aren't gonna get mega FPS on DX12 you're just making your game look dogshit for no reason
