Battlemode will release in a month's time. You can read more about it in the latest update: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyboards/fateforge-chronicles-of-kaan/posts/4134409
Just received my copy yesterday, and this video was perfect. Simple explanation, beautiful presenter. Can't wait to dig into the game itself this weekend!
Awesome! Thank you. I was struggling a bit but I was being dumb and had my card box on the wrong side. Nothing was fitting properly. The production value is excellent. I cannot wait to dive into this game.
@@mightyboards Maybe you know something about the Polish edition? Polish publisher Galakta was planning to release it by the end od 2023. Will it be published in Poland this year?
As a deaf board gamer who have purchased many mighty board titles I’m disappointed this is not captioned. Please consider captioning your videos in the future and thanks.
I love that designers put proper thought into game storage (and actually come out with one) looks AMAZING !! Carefully thought of and gone into details! Based on this alone, I'm very happy to have backed this game. And... I actually received my pledge on time !! (which is not a trivial thing at all).
I have a question... Church tile has to be considered as a building tile? In the rulebook it is mentioned 32 building tile. It includes church tile/tiles?
This is such a great video!! Just got the game and was looking for something exactly like this!! Excited to try it out and thanks for taking the time to do this!
Got my copy TODAY! Can't wait to play! The assembly was pretty clear and easy, but the towers were very delecate, and one of them tore...😒, but the rest of the game is fantastic.👌👌
I am greatly anticipating my Kickstarter Founder's Deluxe Edition of Hamlet. The minute I first saw this game, I was in. In fact it is one of my most anticipated games. Thank you for the assembly and storage guide. Most helpful! 👍😊
great to see an insert system was thought of , I do rather wish it was like a gametrayz type insert though. I think when my copy shows up I'll assemble it, and then maybe strengthen it with some clear tape over joints and seams etc
Thanks for that! A very useful and easy to follow video, plus it was nice to see the pride in your face! Really looking forward to our first game now...
Does the retail version come with the wooden resources and that awesome insert? Wondering the exact difference for the retail vs deluxe. Thx! Great video!!
Really impressed with this, coming with an insert and labels printed onto the inside of the box for what to go where. I know there's more expensive inserts out there for other games but more often than not, something this simple would be absolutely perfect. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Excellent guide! I got the game yesterday and it looks great. The only small issue for me is that I'm slightly colour blind, so I couldn''t really tell the blue and green pieces apart. Maybe it will be clearer in daylight. But no big thing, since there are no hidden information (like cards with colours) in this game. I assembled the insert without problems yesterday, will fix the church later. Can't wait to get it to the table!
I only watched this to see all the parts in one place because I'm so curious! Hope my copy will get here soon and I will watch this video again to actually pay attention to how to store it! :)
A video for how to store the game in the box? BY THE DEVELOPER??? YOU SIR.... Are a Hero among Heros. My people wish to take a sample of your DNA so that we may replicate you.
Looks great! The gaps on some of the church parts (at least on the towers) and that middle part of the church which seems to be a misprint (where you see the inside of the church on the outside sticking out even when completely build in-game) is a bummer though. 😞
Are you sure you are placing the buildings on the correct side of the church? Mines stick out a little bit if the components move around but if you place them properly you can't really see any interior space when fully built
@@SilmarPlaysBGs I haven't gotten my copy yet, so my observation is only based on comments and pictures shared on the KS comments section... as well as looking at the church in this video at 13:22. You can see on the printed documents (like here at 1:06 briefly visible too), as well as on the KS campaign page how it should have looked like and where the misprint happened (upper section of that middle church part).
Yeah the church is a bit of a let down, small wooden blocks would have worked better I think. The artwork is great but they don’t fit stick together snugly and have gaps.
I have recently started incorporating inserts and box/storage as part of my game scoring system. I noticed it actually influences how often I play. Kudos to you.
Perfect timing! Im getting my copy today :D (Denmark) Can't wait to play your game David, and ty to you and the whole team for having a Kickstarter that was really smooth and delivered before time! I have only tried that with Garphill Games, so thank you! :)
This kind of video is excellent. I wish more game designers/publishers would do the same, especially regarding the box storage systems. Thanks David and the team!
so what happens with the cardboard clouds from the base game ? should we throw them away? I like those a lot, but it seems there is no additional space for them in the box. :-(
Funny, I spent hours today dissecting everything working on a way to sort my copy the way I like it. It’s funny to me people want a video or sheet to tell them how to store the game. Sometimes when something is so detailed or specific they may want to know exactly what to do, but you bought the game you can sort it however you want. I’ll say with the production of this there should have been a sheet included with pictures and instructions how to sort it. You already had a graphics on the KS page in the updates, but having a copy in the game would be helpful for the many who might have missed those. This video helps too, but unless people memorize it, write something down etc they may have to refer to this multiple times when a graphic sheet solves that. I didn’t see from the KS updates where/how to store that temperature board, had it laying out across the game board, but the option in the video is nifty I’ll try it tomorrow. Noticed you put the game board above the clouds, tokens, and player pieces. When the lid of the box is off, on all four sides and the back of the box is a separated blowout of all the components and you can store your board however but it clearly shows the board under the clouds, tokens, and player pieces haha I saw the Swarm promo card in the “promo components” on page 7, but I couldn’t, maybe missed it, find the rules for the card in the rule book. Found it on BGG but wonder if it’s in the rule book. Love the line on page 3 under “expansions: promos”, “ after you learn the game, add one or two of these flexible promos to your plays. Or heck - add all of them for all we care. Experiment! Go wild! It’s not like you’re playing with nature…” I wrote down, “playing with nature” as a game mode to try where it’s all promos haha Thanks! The cover artwork on the collectors edition is simply stunning, so beautiful, great job.
Very helpful this was too confusing for newbies, needed a video...^^ one thing 13:02 u say "we have any of these for the rest" but before u filled it with honey bees tokens, that dont fit underneath honeybees tiles. where did u put em? underneath some promo tiles? also weird i cant put the base game clouds and lightning anywhere. the cloud inlay is way too extreme for what it does. but i guess it is the best way to store them without having the clouds "fly" around...hehe. thx for the vid
It's not "weird" that you cannot put the base game clouds and lightning in the CE, since the CE gives you upgraded, plastic clouds and lightning bolts. The base game clouds and lightning go in your trash can.
@@chuckm1961i see and i know that might be subjective but i will not throw away old stuff. also i just got the whole game in one big collectors. i got both the base game and upgraded so no i wouldnt smash them into the trash. i can see though as to why the space is limited but having such a big tray only for the upgraded clouds is over the top, in my opinion. well, even if most people dont see it that way i like having the option to choose between old and new components.
