This is really inspiring, Victor. Congrats on the release of this project! Thanks for all the inspiration!!! Your speech about doing the music you wanted and the state of the scene really got to me. I struggle a lot with sticking to a specific genre, trying to cater to what's out there on the market, and it really brings me down. Any advice to someone in a situation like this? I like techno/house and tech house but I feel like trying to do all these 3 genres might not be suitable for an artist identity and it feels like it will hurt more than good. And when I don't try to do it I get FOMO for sticking to just one and not doing the others. It really gets to me and makes me feel unmotivated. I was hoping you can shine a light into someone trying to figure this whole thing out. Thank you!
To me, you are a legend, Victor. You have been an incredibly important figure in my journey from the beginning until today. I still feel privileged to have been a small part of your story by recording some of your performances here in Brazil. I’m always open-hearted and ready to listen to your art, and I’ve felt a deep connection with it since the early days. You’re a special guy, man. I watched the entire documentary, and I must say I was very curious about the tracks. I felt a lot of nostalgia for so many things you did a long time ago, and it was really interesting to hear your perspective on each one, sharing a bit of their creation. the same goes for me... a pure artist with pure intentions, what is really hard to find right now in the music scene! but thats the idea and intention behind.. to leave an example and be someone to look up to esp someone who has already a big audience !! Love you and your work Victor !! :)
